Alexandra Place is only a small place and unlike many other motels in the area not part of any large chain. We found it by accident on the net and primarily booked due to price, fully expecting the worst.

We loved this little gem, it is small, in fact only 18 units in total but it was the best little place we stayed at so far. The size of the rooms are good (we had a twin), no tripping over each other and all the basics are there (ie. tea, coffee, basic toiletries & hairdryer). There is a minibar, as expansive as anywhere else and the bistro of the Hotel(Pub) next door allows you to charge your meal
to the room so you do not miss the lack of restuarant. Room service is also possible via the Hotel if you don't wish to leave your room.
Breakfast was included in our price (which was over $25 cheaper than the other alternative), it was basically toast, cerial, and juice and did the job.
