We had a quick weekend in Bendigo and stated at Langley Hall. It was simply fantastic. When we arrived we us a look around the lovely gardens and met the resident alpacas! Our host, Anthony, gave us a great history of the house and suggested some great activities and places for dinner. We also had breakfast in the house the... More

Langley Hall was built in 1904 for the then Bishop of Bendigo. It has the grandeur and elegance of that era and it was a treat to stay in such comfort and luxury. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and there are lovingly tended gardens surrounding the building. A great place for a romantic getaway. There is free... More

Photos and descriptions do not do this place justice. It is very special. Jenny met us and showed us to our room with ensuite and there was just everything there you could think of. It was rather chilly so she had put the heating on for us, lovely linen and furnishings, large ensuite. Very comfortable. The Bishop of Bendigo certainly... More

This lovely, stately former Bishop's residence has beautiful stained glass around the entry door, lovely lounge areas and beautiful grounds to walk in. It has an elegant breakfast room downstairs with lovely china, crystal and linen napkins for a home cooked breakfast, while the large, well appointed and comfortable rooms with period fittings and immaculate en suite bathrooms, are to... We stayed at Langley Hall for one night in an amazing B&B in Bendigo. We were met upon arrival by Anthony who explained the lay out of the property and then took us to our room. Langley Hall was built in 1903 as the home for the first Anglican Bishop of Bendigo, Henry Langley. He had 14 children so needed... More

This is a beautifully maintained early 1900s mansion 5km from the centre of Bendigo. We stayed in the Queen suite with private ensuite. Very comfortable and quiet. Sitting rooms and dining room are open to guests as is the lovely garden. The hosts were very welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

Although a few kilometres from the centre of the town, Langley Hall was a beautiful place to stay. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served in the dining room and was excellent value at only $15. It was also good to meet other guests. The two alpacas in a yard at the back were also friendly!

As a single person visiting Bendigo for the Easter Festival, I was delighted to have spent three night in this beautiful establishment. One of the highlights was having breakfast around the large dining room table that was so elegantly set out. Something you would see in Downton Abbey. From when I arrived to when I departed, Jenny and Anthony were... More
