Stayed at Hunter House for one night. Rooms were just ok, maybe a bit outdated (but that's apparently their style). However, did not have much comfort while sleeping as a centrally-operated air con system blew down directly on our bed all night. I had asked them in the afternoon to turn it off (which they did for some time), but... more

Converted Victorian mansion. Lovely high ceilings, spacious rooms, comfy bed. Walking distance to main part of towwn. Great brekky. And all for the about same as we would have paid at the nasty chain motel in town! more

It's a quick walk from the train station, which is handy as most of the accommodation in Bendigo is on the other side of the CBD. My room was large and extremely comfortable, and while there is some noise from the... more

We had a wonderful three-night stay at the Greystanes in July. We were given a spacious well-appointed room with a fireplace. But the best thing of all were the breakfasts: eggs benedict, fresh fruit and yogurt. Simply scrumptious. And the inn is very well-located in Bendigo. It was the best place we stayed at during our three-week visit to Australia... more
