We stayed here on a visit to Sovereign Hill. We stayed for the large 2-bedroom apartments. It is all nicely set up, with bedrooms on the second floor. This particular property is not as new as some of the other Quests (no dishwasher, older TV and VCR), but still very functional. The hotel is located close to Sovereign Hill, perhaps close enough to walk, but driving distance from town (Ballarat). The manager was very pleasant and we had a nice stay.

The main negative was the traffic noise (the hotel was completely booked when we were there, so we had one of the two apartments facing Main Street (I think that is really the name). There is a considerable volume of traffic passing by. Fortunately it seemed to come to an abrupt stop around 11 p.m., and didn't pick up 'till 6:30 or 7 a.m. more
