This was a nice place to stay for us as we needed a base in a central location while in Ballarat at that time looking for a property to rent. The room was nested in a corner location with a king size bed that was very comfortable and in a quiet location. Room was very clean with all one needs... More

My husband and I love all things kitch so when I saw the photos of the foyer I had to book this place. Stayed here with our 2 children for an overnight stay so we could visit Sovereign Hill. We had a family room that had a double bed and 2 singles. The room was clean and it looked like... More

We had a dinner in ballarat to go to and being a Saturday night I thought this hotel was reasonably priced compared to others. The staff were relatively friendly and gladly put a microwave in our room at no extra charge. The room was old fashioned but not too bad. I did not like the bathroom but that's my personal... More

Best thing is the location. Have stayed on a few occasions. Old old motel with off street parking. It is a bit on the expensive side for such and old motel. Clean and very basic rooms. Because it is so central you can walk to local cafés for breakfast. Meals in the upstairs restaurant weren't anything special. Stay for the... More

I only stayed for one night in order to attend a meeting. From the street there is little visual appeal and once you drive past the administrative section the two storey layout revealg a fairly large number of rooms. Judging by the number of utes parked it seems a popular place with tradesmen. I am amused by management's spin that... More

The mid city motel was very pleasant. There were three in our group and had a decent room with breakfast included each morning. Breakfast was good but both mornings waited for someone to show up to serve us. Was good all the same, we didn't go there just to sit around in the room so it was good for sleeping... More

Beds comfortable, although the double bed was right up against the wall and you had to climb into that side. Bed head was loose and very easy to hit your head on. Decor is very outdated and new pint work is needed as it is very flakey and cracks in bathroom. Small TV offered. Oh, and check if they have... More

We booked a queen room through Wotif & were very happy with the price, central location, size of the room & ease of parking. Quiet location as it is set back from the road Will definitely be staying again.
