Maybe not the newest place in town but staff were friendly. Gave us fresh milk which is a bonus, however only 2 serves of coffee in the room. Good toiletry selection. Hated having to pay for a newspaper. Was almost at full occupancy but still not noisy. Bed comfortable and slept very well. Room clean. Close to city centre.

I stayed one night at this motel and firstly may I say it is in a top location so I thought $160 for a twin was ok when booking but that changed after the room was sighted. It looks like the last room update was just after the Eureka stockade uprising in 1854. The room we had was very tired... More

I stayed here with a group of people attending an Avatar course. We were all taken really good of in each of our rooms and in the conference room. My personal requests for help were met with willingness and care. It is a wonderful place to stay.

Large two story motel, plenty of rooms, motel is dated, some of the walls in the bathrooms are in need of repair. Recently changed hands and small changes have been noted. Better quality coffee in the rooms, complimentary bathroom products, decent size coffee cup. Smallish flat screen TV, individual split systems in each room. Motel has a lot of tradies... More

Walking distance to Shopping, Restaurants and Hospital. Didn't eat at Restaurant, looks like they are doing extensive renovations. Rooms very tired badly in need of renovation. Our hand basin leaked all over the floor. Rooms were quiet no traffic noise. Okay for an overnight passing through.

We have stayed here on another occasion and the staff were friendly. So we decided to stay again as we found it reasonably good last time. However this visit we had the most shocking bed I've ever experienced (we've traveled a lot this year across the country to many different types of motels). It was so badly needing replacing that... We stayed here for a couple of nights & found the bed to be super comfy- (which is hard to please a heavily pregnant woman) and what seemed like new bedding... The lady on the front desk who appeared to be the owner/manager was helpful with good local knowledge and was more than understanding and ver accommodating when she noticed... More

Stayed there for 2 nights in November 2014. Excellent location, clean and spacious room as we had the executive room, great brekky, Service desk staff were of a high standard and very helpful with any enquiry. Walking distance to city central. Great friendly service from all the staff. Will definetly stay there again.

Probably worth 3 1/2 stars. Stayed on a weeknight and even so the place was fairly well patronised. I suspect it was the deal including room and breakfast for $140. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast (continental) was adequate. One could get bacon eggs etc at extra cost if desired. Main complaint was the cold coffee - if one did... More
