I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort of the room. In a cold winter, the room and bathroom were easy to heat. The bathroom is newly renovated and it is very nice. The manager couple (perhaps the owners) were friendly and helpful. Despite being on a service road to the main road, the room was quiet inside. Mattress was comfortable.... More

Good sized, clean and warm rooms located an easy walk to restaurants and the main shopping strip. Great heating and electric blankets on the beds. Run by a friendly and helpful young couple who made check-in and out a pleasure. Would stay there again.

Room was clean but old, with a gap under the door that needed towels to prevent the cold air gushing in. The heating was insufficient for the weather with it only heating the room to no more than 16 degrees. The manager was helpful when pushed and provided an extra small heater. The small pool was a nice temperature but... More

We are sorry you feel your stay was not adequate. All our customers comment on how warm the rooms are but we are always happy to provide an extra heater for those that request them. Our customers also comment on how nice the rooms are. In regards to the pool, the water is tested by pool specialists and it is... More

Clean, cosy with all the basic amenities you need for a short stay. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Walking distance to restaurants, supermarket etc. More than happy to stay here again. Thank you.

Lovely motel room, recently renovated. Modern, clean and tidy with toaster, kettle and microwave which were helpful. Beds were comfortable and the aircon warmed us up. WiFi free but on the slow side. Walking distance into town where there are several cafes and across the road from Pizza Hut if you are too tired to go far. Supermarket also only... More

Great place to stay with kids as they had a room and I had a room which was great. Heater was warm, rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great city location but surprisingly quiet. Loved the free wifi which worked well. I would stay here again!

We stayed one night at the Ballarat Central City Motor Inn. It was one of the cheaper options available in Ballarat and we booked it as we planned to spend the day and evening at Sovereign Hill. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived! The room was extremely clean and recently renovated. We had a queen bed and a single... More

Poor cleanliness. No attention to detail. Sheets were clean thank goodness. "Limited room service = very limited, not willing to provide basic toast for breakfast as we were half hour late with breakfast order. Spa not functioning and filthy. Cleaning staff very blase when issues reported. Owner did refund some of cost and appologetic on leaving.

We are extremely sorry about the spa as that has never happened before. As such we are now removing the spa from the premises as a little research through other Motels have them at the top of the list when it comes to headaches. The cleaner reported the problem to me straight away as I was out to the room... More

NIce clean modernised room. Heater worked well which is important for Ballarat in the colder months. Room was near a main road but the noise level was really low. Good coverage on window coverings- no gaps helped this factor and the location was great as really close to he main shopping district.
