A beautiful Motel in Ballarat East, not far from Soverign Hill and the town itself. We took the 5 bed room, Good size room to sleep and very clean. The owner Brian was very friendly and suprisingly comes with light breakfast (toast & Cereal). An Indian Restaurant at the corner is an added advantage. Miss the Microwave to hot up... More

First time in this motel, although a regular visitor to East Ballarat. The room was very clean and comfortable and real value for money costing $75 per night. 2 slices of bread and a jug of milk provided upon arrival. A small packet of cornflakes (a nice touch) supplementing the usual coffee and tea making supplies. Staff were friendly. Situated... More

An 'old fashioned' charmer... the owner / operators were charming and very helpful. We got the added extras of a continental breakfast... just for arriving was a pleasant surprise! There were a few 'problems' with the room that needed a 'lick of paint' and a few repairs, but overall it was a very pleasant stay.

I am not normally one to complain about accommodation. But people have to be warned about this place. Our university fully booked out the entire complex and both female and male sports teams stayed for three nights. Firstly, the person who runs the motel would regularly come our rooms completely unannounced. And during the day while we were out we... More

A group of us stayed here last week and found that after a single night of untidiness, (We'd left a few bottles out) the manager of the motel had taken all our cooking utensils! when confronted , he labelled us 'truckers' and stubbornly refused to tell me why he'd taken everything in the kitchen. We had come to the room... More

This slightly older motel is set back off the road in a quiet neighbourhood near the Eureka stockade. The furnishings are a little tired but clean enough, and the rooms are surprisingly spacious. Good broadband available for a modest fee. At $87 through the visitor centre the motel is good value for money; this even includes a modest continental breakfast.

Friend and I stayed in adjoining rooms for just $70 each with breakfast. Rooms were basic but clean and tidy and good hot water pressure in the shower. Electric blankets and two heaters great for the suddenly chilly night. Handy location to everything including the Eureka Stockade memorial and info centre across in the park. Lady who checked us in... More

Having stayed here previously and was impressed with it, we decided again to spend a couple of nights more recently. Unfortunately this time, this motel complex didn't live up to our previous visit. The motel room we were given, whilst clean and comfortable, was looking rather run down and lacking in minor maintenance. There were quite a few cobwebs on... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Motel in a quiet location of the main highway between Melbourne and Ballarat city centre (on the left as you head into Ballarat). Opposite the Eureka Stockade centre & museum and some parkland. Motel was reasonable priced and pretty standard. You got a continental breakfast which you take with you to your room... More
