We stayed one night after a long day & night at Soverign Hill. We were cold & wet, but our room was warm & our beds toasty from the air con & electric blankets. The room was adequate for our needs, clean, comfortable & well appointed. The motel is close to Soverign Hill & the gold district and the main... More

Great "extras" that normally I would have to pay - even at 5 star hotels I have stayed. Awesome service from the gentleman at reception - should have gotten your name - Sorry! A couple of suggestions (small ones) - heater is definitely needed in the bathroom!!! We had a minus 1 degree morning!!! And maybe a slightly more powerful... More

Fantastic great stay here recently. Service was excellent. As it was a particularly cold night in Ballarat, we asked the friendly owner for an extra heater for the room, which he happily obliged to. Very comfy beds and room cleanliness was immaculate. The shower water pressure was excellent. Free wifi was a bonus, and very easy to log into the... More

The gentleman who serves us is the best. Extremely friendly every time we come stay. My partner and I try there everytime we want to stay in town. Rooms are comfortable and a great environment to be in. Keep up the good work!

Great spot to stay- free muffins on check in. very clean and staff were super helpful. Good size room and comfy bed with lovely sheets. Speedy internet and great TV channels. Only downside was the room was quite dark and heater quite noisy...but not a major issue. Would highly rec.

My family & I visited Sebastopol on the weekend of the 19th July, week after school holidays. As a break from work we decided to visit friends in the local area and visit Sovereign Hill as a getaway for our kids (3yo & 1yo). Booking online was a breeze, selected the family room (queen & two singles) and was delighted... More

I used the google map to check the distance of it from the city. I found that it was quite a distance. However, I was surprised to find that it isn't too far from the city. The room is clean and warm.

The hotel was exellent. What you get for what you pay is incredible. We had a two bedroom apartment, and there was a television in the main room, equipped with Foxtel, and a T.V.in the kid's room. There was free WiFi, which is normally hard to find as hotels usually make you pay for it (the kids went absolutly crazy!)... More

I'm a little OCD when it comes to cleanliness and the like, & thus never get my hopes up when it comes to staying in smaller motels. WELL - I was blown away by Begonia City. I couldn't fault the cleanliness, & the room was beautifully decked out. It was easy to find & the staff made it an easy,... More

We arrived early & picked up the discount tickets to Sovereign Hill that the very helpful owner had offered us. We then arrived back after dark to check in to a clean & tidy 2 bedroom family apartment (nice fresh milk for coffee on arrival too). Everything was clean & tidy, quite modern and the a/c worked well! We asked... More
