We have stayed there a few years ago, so we decided to stay there again on this visit. We have no regrets. It is in a nice quiet area, the hosts are lovely and the rooms are very nice. The breakfast is a great start to the day. We would stay there again.

This B & B was a lovely surprise. The rooms are quite large and very tastefully decorated, the ensuite bathroom is large and spotless with lovely little extras for guests. King size bed, walk in wardrobe, sitting area with tea, coffee and complimentary chocolates. The rooms have heating and cooling controlled within the room, as well as free wi-fi. There... More

Canadian Lodge was custom built as a B&B by Ingrid and Andrew seven years ago. It is situated a few minutes out of Ballarat city and is near Sovereign Hill. The layout is brilliant with one half of the house set up exclusively for guests. The guest half consists of three upstairs bedrooms and a very comfortable downstairs lounge and... More

Located a short drive from the city centre of Ballarat and a short drive from Sovereign Hill. This B&B was presented immaculately, we were greeted by Ingrid who was very welcoming, her recommendations for dinner were great, we decided to try Oscars Hotel, which had very good service, its not flash. Compared to the other B&B we stayed in at... More

Located out of the city centre this was a lovely quiet B&B not too far from Sovereign Hill. The rooms were spotless and the furnishings very comfortable. The bedroom and ensuite were quite spacious with a walk in wardrobe that was great space for the suitcases. The guest lounge and breakfast area was a lovely place to relax after a... More

A great B&B located in a quiet residential area ensuring a great nights rest with none of the noise associated with a city location. We congratulate Ingrid on her set up of the B&B. It has everything that one would want when staying in a private residence. From here there is easy access to the city and surrounding attractions. One... More

This B&B, although a little outside of Ballarat, is immaculate. It is modern so do not look for historical ambiance. It is in a new residential area, but Ingrid, our host, is pleasant and attentive and keeps the rooms absolutely pristine. You have very easy access to Ballarat and its attractions and it is also very near Sovereign Hill. The... More

Thank you Thomas for your review. We noticed that you were very interested in the historical buildings of Ballarat. We certainly have them here and more! Although we are not in the center of Ballarat, we are still within the city limits, not outside as you suggested. As it only takes 6 minutes to get to the Town Hall from... More

We have just stayed 3 nights. We wanted a quiet place not too far from Melbourne. This was certainly it. The bedrooms, and indeed the lounge and breakfast area very comfortable, very clean and they were that way throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious and Ingrid is very attentive. We definatley recommend this B & B.

Thank you so much for this lovely review. We're so glad that you had a great time in Ballarat, and found our B&B to your liking. As time goes by, we try to improve little things here and there and it does make the B&B more comfortable. Good reviews makes it all worthwhile. Once again, thanks. More

The couple who run this do it very well. Clean, comfortable - no problems. The only downside is that a housing estate has grown around them, so it doesn't look so nice during the day. However, as we were out and about during the days we stayed there, this did not cause us any concern - and we would recommend... More

Thank you for your review. We are surprised to read that you thought our B&B did not look nice in the daytime. Most guests love the setting and our beautiful garden, but I guess we all look at things differently. We liked the fact that you enjoyed your stay, and we remember that you enjoyed the fishing at a farm... More
