Extremely welcoming and obliging on arrival and throughout our 3 night stay. Not the most modern but very clean and comfortable. Shops, banks and post office nearby. Lovely walk by the river Mitchell close by. We would stay here again. Free wifi really good in room 12.

While this motel is older, it was very clean and comfortable. It appeared to have had an update in the past five years with a new vanity in the bathroom and a few other features throughout. We paid $90 which is great value for money.

Yes, this is an old Motel, but No, it's hospitality is Fresh ! We found comfortable beds for the night and welcoming service, particularly noticeable after the opposite in Paynesville nearby. Next to Police Station, in a Clean Room, #12 away from road, well provisioned bathroom, Wi Fi, door front parking, as quiet as could be, when near main street... More

Paid $90 for one night arriving at 7pm, wish we had stayed at the pub/hotel a few doors up as that was much cleaner, very basic, pillows and room generally smelt and noise from trucks in the morning, seriously in need of refurbishment.

Free wifi worked well, microwave was handy too. Room was small but clean. Right on the highway and passing trucks were very loud even with windows closed. Easy walk to Maccas for coffee, which was good as only International Roast was provided in the room! Probably wouldn't stay again except as last resort.

Arrived getting late in evening in Bairnsdale and the Travellers Rest was the first motel we saw. Very pleasant receptionist. Parking at the door. Room clean and tidy, but was small, just enough room for a comfortable bed and lounge chair. Bathroom area was also very small. Was too late to find out if it had Wi-Fi, but went to... More

Stayed for one night in this motel on our way from Melbourne to Sydney via Canberra. It is a very basic motel. It is situated right on the main highway. There is a police station right next door, so there is a feeling of security. Cars can be parked right outside the rooms. The rooms are basic and bathrooms are... More

stayed one night en route from Melbourne to Canberra. Excellent value for money. Simple but clean and comfortable, everything you need for a stopover. Owners of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Overall, a good motel.
