A fantastic place to relax. We stayed in the Apollo lodge which was well appointed and very clean. Debbie and the other caretakers were very friendly and only to happy to help. The pool and spa were great to swim in. The ability to interact with the local wildlife was a bonus. Will definitely be returning.

Such a great holiday destination. For couples and families. Debbie and mark are really friendly and the service is great. Between kayaking, bike riding or just sitting by your lodge feeding the local wildlife, it's the perfect place to get away from your busy life and relax. Already booked to come back next year!

You are literally surrounded by wildlife and there. There are kangaroos in your back yard (wild but extremely friendly, the kids had a ball with them, feeding them with the food that gets supplied for you in your lodge), wild bunnies, cockatoos and rosellas. The activities there are really enjoyable and even relaxing including the mineral spa and canoeing.

We recently spent 3 nights in the Steamer Cabin which was truly relaxing. We were looking for a place that was away from the hustle and bustle for some relaxation as part of our road trip and we certainly picked a fabulous spot. We were thoughtfully greeted with a lit open fire to warm us up after our travels and... More

We checked into the Tanjil waterfront unit for two nights. We paid for a one bedroom but was upgraded to the two bedroom tanjil because it was available and on the waterfront. Impression was unbelievably beautiful. A roo was laying down at the back just waiting for some seeds. It wasn't long after, the rest came. Then the Rosellas came... More

The proximity and interaction with the kangaroos is legitimate and unbelievable and breathtaking. We stayed in the 2 br unit with the spa tub. The people were great, especially Mark who seemed helpful with the kayaks and the directions So what keeps it from being 5 stars? Being a "city person" from the US who typically prefers Marriott hotels and... More

Stayed for 4nights in a 1 bedroom unit with a good views with kangaroos and bird life . Unit was relatively new with good furnishings and reasonably fitted out kitchen. Most of the things you need in a kitchen ( no oven but a small microwave ) small hot plate BBQ. Over 20 Kms from Bairnsdale so it is a... More

We are looking for quiet and beautiful place for family vacation. And here is the place more than we expected! We could hire or enjoy heated pool, spa, push bikes, Kayak and more, for free. And the staff were so kind . it seems to have private cottage for us. Strongly recommend!

A really fantastic place to stop along the coast, for a couple or family. The self contained lodge I stayed in was clean and was open plan living which was great, waking up and looking out to the water through the clearing was beautiful, with all the different birds and lots of kangaroos at your doorstep. I recommend to take... More
