Our stay here could've been a disaster when our reservation wasn't recognised. But the owner took responsibility for their mistake & somehow managed to get us a room even though there were no vacancies. It's the kind of response to a stuff up (which happens) that you would want. The room itself was very spacious & comfortable. There is free... More

After searching all the available locations, trying to find a reasonable priced room but also with some mod cons, this was our choice. We were delighted with the size of the room and also how modern it was. The staff were friendly when we checked in. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Pillows required a bit... We stayed here as a couple for 2 nights whilst in Launceston. We had a spa suite on the ground floor. Although the room was right next to the entry door that is used at night, it was very quiet and private. The room itself was huge, plenty of room to spread out as was the bathroom. Bar fridge fully... More

Had a 2 bedroom room for one night. Relative to the rest of Tassie accommodation, this was quite inexpensive. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable, service was very good and the rooms have a pretty good view overlooking the town and the balcony is a good place to have a drink.

I enjoyed staying in this hotel but was disappointed with the lack of wi if the owner/manager was very unforgiving if you accidentally logged off Also no restaurant no bar however we enjoyed our stay but not sure if I would use it again

Quiet but close enough to walk into the city. Stately building in private grounds. Our "room" was spacious with a living room and private bedroom. Our two boys (14 and 9) were comfortable sleeping on the large fold out sofa bed. Good value continental breakfast delivered to the room and boys were able to hire a DVD from the extensive... More

We only spent one night in Launceston but it was a good one thanks to this charming place. The hotel has its own grounds meaning the rooms are super quiet. Service was good, wi-fi is free and there are spacious balconies with nice views to enjoy a nightcap from the affordable mini-bar. The rooms are clean and large and easily... More

We went to Launceston for our wedding anniversary and selected this hotel to avoid the mainstream and enjoy a more 'local' experience, thank you James for ensuring we had a private balcony room. Unfortunate for us it was the hottest weekend Launceston had had for years and our room aircon could not cope with the heat, we never stepped out... More

The receptionist was particularly helpful, recommending local restaurants where the hotel could get a 10% discount. The room was good and the mini bar was very reasonably priced. Easy walk to town and to the gorge.

We had a beautiful room on the top floor of this really lovely historic building. The hotel is set in a lovely garden. Our room was large and beautifully maintained. Immaculate bathroom. It was within easy walking distance of everything,
