As a family we travelled from Brisbane and spent a week at north lodge apartment. We found it to be very clean and our room overlooked the city park which is beautiful. The ladies in reception were extremely helpful and so friendly we just want to say a big thankyou. Next time we come back we know where we will... More

I booked a room over a month in advance for myself and three other guests to stay here last saturday. On the day of checking in I was contacted and informed that the hotel was over booked and had no longer any available accomodation for me and the other guests. I had travelled 2hours from hobart that day and had... More

I phoned to make a booking and I was told it would be $130 per night, when booking out I was charged $200 per night. The one bedroom apartment was big but dated and had an sharp pungent smell to it. I go to Launceston regularly and I will never stay there again due to their dishonesty.

Hotel is in an old dodgy-looking apartment block on a steep street (car parks are very small so just park around City Park as its much easier). Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, the rooms have been renovated, bathroom was nice, kitchen very average. Have also stayed at 6 other hotels around Launceston and would recommend Auldington (in town) or... More

We stayed at North Lodge Apartments 2 nights in December, studio #23. When we first walked into the studio it looked pretty big (though old fashioned), cleaned and the kitchen recently renovated... but after a few minutes we realised that the carpet was very old and in very bad condition since dangerous rusty nails came up from the hardwood floor... Arrived in launceston and went to check in at appartment, upon arriving to reception there was a sign saying "reception is unmanned please use phone located to the left and dial 9" This was the first sign of poor management. I then used the phone 3 x, called the location direct, sent off emails and nothing! Luckly I was able... More

My husband and I stayed twice at North Lodge during our recent visit to Tasmania. While the hotel good do with a face lift on the outside, the two rooms we stayed in had been recently remodeled and were comfortable and clean. We found the staff to be very helpful and Rene went out of her way to make our... More

Wife and I stayed for two nights, 3rd and 4th October in a one bedroom apartment. Even though we only paid $119 per night the room was really not worth it, carpet dirty and worn, walls were marked, furniture outdated, all in all in need of a quick update. My big gripe was the filthy skirting boards in every room,... More

Looks like a hotel that rents by the hour from the outside. However, the rooms are clean (a few cobwebs), the staff accommodating. All the requires appliances are there. Outside needs a real clean up, cigarette butts, broken glass, dirt etc.
