We stayed at the Quest for 7 nights in Sept 2008. For $Aus130 per night it was great value. The appartments are new and spacious, consisting of a large bedroom with big wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. The bathroom is large and includes a clothes washer and dryer but as someone previously mentioned could do with some more shelf... more

The quest in Launceston was better than we expected. We used wotif.com and got a great deal (about $110 i think). The unit was bigger than we thought, especially the bathroom. Pro's to this place: Decent sized bathroom Huge bed (king i think) large fridge/freezer and dishwasher nice views Right in the cbd Cons to this place: The free movies... more

We stayed at the Quest Launceston for five nights in late March. The positives : Jacki in Reception was very efficient and helpful. Quest is situated in the CBD, and within walking distance to shops and restaurants, etc. Lovely office/foyer in heritage building. Apartments lovely and spacious. Comfortable beds/pillows. Car park is across the street, $4.00 overnight from 5.30 p.m.... more

This is a newly refurbished building. The rooms are very clean and modern and the beds are very firm and comfortable. The only thing they forgot was to refit the windows. These are the original slide up and down windows which do not seal well. Thus the road noise is heard all night, unless you are at the back of... more

There were 9 of us - 2 families with teenage kids - travellling around Tasmania and Melbourne for more than 2 weeks. We stayed at various serviced apartments and hotels and we must say that Quest Launceston is our favourite of the lot. The rooms are very spacious and clean; the kitchenette well stocked. Our teenage kids loved the fact... more

I booked a 2 bedroom apartment, requesting for the airconditioned type. To our surprise, it was actually 2 seperate apartments, the 2nd room connected by a staircase going to an upper floor (like an attic). It's not very good for family with young kids and as I had 2 young kids, I took the lower apartment and shut the door... more

Our apartment at the Quest was clean, bright and very well equipped. We had heating, which had been turned on for us - and that was much appreciated. We found however that none of the windows in our apartment would open - so no fresh air - and also no air-conditioning. Would not stay in Summer. The noise was bad... more

After reading reviews of this hotel describing noise problems I decided to book directly with the hotel to ensure that I could get a room high up and at the back. "Not a problem!", they said. "We'll give you a room on level 3 at the back", they said. "Great", we say. However, when we book in we are given... more

We stayed at the Quest Launceston apartments for 5 days in December 2006 with our 12 year old son. We had a one bedroom apartment on the 5th (& highest) floor of a beautiful restored historic building in central Launceston. The apartment is brand new (Quest opened in August 06) & the decor is modern, neutral, tasteful & above all,... more
