We booked this room for 2 nights. Plenty of parking, and Room 1 was large and comfortable. Breakfast cooked by a pleasant young man was fine. No real problems although this was the only accommodation we booked from the UK which demanded full payment up front

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. The location is an easy walk into the CBD, Cataract Gorge and City Park. The rooms are spacious, homely and clean. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is lovely. I recommend hiring a car if you don't have your own with you so you can experience the Tamar Valley. Would definately... More

Great location for all the Launceston attractions. Car parking plentiful. Staff very friendly and helpful. As per other reviews it is a little tired but the size of the rooms, lovely breakfast and price have made this a positive experience for us.

We selected Fiona's because of location and positive reviews on trip advisor. We could not be more disappointed. Our 2 bedroom chalet was in a terrible condition. No upkeep and foremost no level of sanitation. Dirty kitchen, no pots, filthy glasses and plates, dust and dirt everywhere. We are not demanding when on holidays but by charging AUSD250 per night... The buildings and setting for Fiona's are very promising, however upon arrival we were told by the staff member that "greeted" us "you can't check in" these were the first words spoken to us by Fiona's staff. All of this was despite calling ahead hours earlier to confirm we would be checking in at our arrival time. Upon finally getting... More

Plus:- 1) Good location - within walking distance of the eateries and shopping areas of Launceston 2) Quiet neighbourhood 3) Love the breakfast - a good array of cold and hot breakfast - cereal, a variety of spreads, fruit juices, bread, freshly brewed coffee and a good selection of tea - hot breakfast consists of bacon, eggs and grilled tomato... We had a one night stay at this lovely little B & B. It was walking distance to everything. The room was lovely. We stayed in the loft room. Nice and clean, good bedding and just plain comfy and homely. The young guy who was on reception was very nice, and when we said we would be at breakfast first... More

We booked this 'b&b' based on the wonderful reviews on trip advisor. We were very much looking forward to staying in this accommodation and chose it over Hotel Chancellor because breakfast was included ... bad move! Let me paint you a picture - on arrival there is an envelope at the front door with my name and a key inside.... More

The rooms are comfortable and spacious and the staff are lovely. Breakfast is continental with a cooked option of eggs, tomato and bacon available. Unfortunately the walls and floors are paper thin, allowing you to hear conversations from other rooms. Not fantastic if you're a light sleeper or looking for some peace and quite on your trip away.

The usual place we stay when visiting Launceston was fully booked so we decided to stay here as it was in a great location for us..... near pubs and restaurants! We booked the king deluxe which was a super large room on the ground floor with a small outdoor courtyard. In spite of slight heat wave the room stayed cool... More
