After traveling around Tasmania this was a great place to stay to end the trip. We had a room overlooking the seaport and it was great to wake up to each morning. Great staff and the room was clean. Big spacious rooms!

My wife and I travelled around Tasmania in March 2014 by car and decided to finish off our holiday with a stay at Peppers Seaport in Launceston. We were upgraded on arrival to a larger room with all of the facilities we could ask for. Kitchen, washing machine and dryer, separate bedroom, lounge and bathroom. Very clean and modern decor,... Wow! What can I say? I am impressed with every single aspect of the hotel and staff, welcoming concierge, modern rooms with high ceiling, beautiful bathroom and a key location. Also had dinner at mud restaurant, where we had a terrific experience and enjoyed the best meal in Launceston. Very very happy and will definitely stay at Seaport group, even... More

As a corporate traveller for work I've been staying here almost every week for the past 5 years. I cannot believe some of the rubbish reviews I've read on here, most of which are exaggerated and tedious. The hotel is extremely clean, the rooms are ridiculously spacious and the beds are more than comfortable. Both river view and city view... More

Our 1st trip to Launceston, this hotel is fantastic. Right on the water, great views, beautiful, really well-appointed rooms. Walk to town, cafes, restaurants, a perfect location. Good breakfast and coffee options on site, as well as near the best fish and chip restaurant!! You can walk along the Boardwalk, all the way into Cataract Gorge.

We had a small suite with cooking facilities. Room was spacious and well furnished with balconies looking out over the river. Not greatly photogenic views though as the areas across the river are industrial and we looked onto the road on the other side. The hotel is within walking distance of most things but not really close to anything except... More

A business colleague booked us in for 1 night. Having read some of the reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. We had a 1 bedroom suite and single suite on the 3rd floor facing the river. The rooms were large particularly the 1 bedroom which had a decent size kitchen, large lounge area and separate bedroom. Both apartments were... More

I like Peppers Seaport, lovely staff, and their River View rooms have a lovely outlook, but honestly for $250 a night you need a good bed. Isn't that the basis of a hotel room. This is our second attempt and I think that the staff get bed complaints regularly because they had offers of extra pillow tops and quilts but... More
