Excellent historic hotel with a quaint style. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Beautiful stonework walls and a lovey old waterwheel feature in the courtyard. Perfect location closes city centre. Easy walking distance to the river gorge. Excellent value for money

I love this hotel. I stayed here 7 years ago and again this April. The whole complex oozes heritage, but has all the mod cons needed (even electric blankets!). I particularly like the heavy oak doors and exposed beams. The "Hotel" rooms are generous in size and very clean. I'm always impressed by what you get for the price here.... More

Great location and great apartment... Just some squeaky floorboards and thin walls ... Not that they were too much of an issue.. Nice and central - a short walk to the gorge and lots of great restaurants.. We loved our stay here

We had a three bedroom apartment - great, well fitted out kitchen, beds were comfy and the shower was hot. It is an historical complex so there are some compromises, such as stairs, but for a family it was a generous space to spread out in. Well located with easy parking.
