Good location close to city and friendly owner, however, the nearby church bells rang throughout the night and being positioned on a hill meant listening to traffic constantly changing gears and accelerating. Owner was apologetic, obviously out of her control but we didn't stay second night.

The good things about this b&b is the position, easy to walk around town, the water pressure in the dated shower is good. The free wifi is also good. The bad things are the bed is really uncomfortable, I think it's from the 60s. It is very noisy because you can hear noise from upstairs, it sound like the other... More

Very good value. Made very welcome by Jenny, the owner, who also cooked a great breakfast. Our room was fine. En suite in need of an update ...but a great shower. It is on a hill but only a short walk from the centre. Great opportunity to stay in an 1840s residence. Yes it needs improvements but really good value.... More

We stayed here this weekend, it was perfect for us. We had a car and used it as a base to see Launceston and the surrounds, including the Tamar Valley. The wifi was good, breakfast was a great serve of bacon and eggs, as well as continental. The owner was lovely and really helpful. We'd stay there again. it's probably... More

This is a great B&B for Launceston CBD. Its a hilly 15 minute walk but not too difficult and with Cataract Gorge being within walking distance on the other side of the CBD it was perfect for us. (there is a free city bus too) Jenny is a very friendly helpful hostess with and abundance of smiles. We had a... More

A very quaint 1900s house converted into a B&B of 9 rooms overlooking most of Launceston. Our room was upstairs, but the windows faced to the rear, so no view. The room was spacious with an adjoining en-suite, but there were no chairs in the room, so the only place to sit was on the bed. The bed was comfortable... More
