We stayed in the "Camelot" and it was beautiful and cosy on the cold nights that we were in Launceston. It was immaculately clean and tidy. The wood fire was lovely and the bed so divine, we loved how the cottage was decorated and felt that were thrown back in time. The breakfast was plentiful and more than enough to... More

Thank you dear guests for appreciating the positives. We do read all reviews and appreciate all feed back, good or bad. Good reviews allow us to pinpoint the things people love! And while the bad reviews make us pretty sad, they force us to take a good look at ourselves from the outside, try to understand and make adjustments. More

Unfortunately our stay wasn't quite as expected after readying the other reviews on trip advisor. While the cottage was quite cosy it was very outdated. There was cat fur on the couch so we didn't feel it had been cleaned very well, and 2 of the lights in the bedroom didn't work. The other minus was that the breakfast was... More

Dear Kate, Just what we needed, a negative review, to kick us into the spring and make sure we don't get too smug! We are truly pained about your review and not exceeding your expectations. Glad you enjoyed the warm and cosy cottage, so does Ziggy the very friendly cat who left his fur on the couch! We had a... More

We stayed here twice on our trip and with 2 couples got to see the English, Irish and Scottish cottages. All were beautiful, very authentic and at the price were excellent value. We'd definitely stay here again.

We were welcome by beautiful weather in Launceston. The cottage is located in a very strategic location. It's extremely close to the Cataract Gorge with is worth doing a walk in. We got to check in early.. Hooray, and was given our own parking space. We loved the interior of the cottage, it had a very homely feel and we... More

Arrived to find heaters on and cottage warm. Open fire was set and ready to light. Spa bath filled quickly and plenty of bath soap and crystals for a fantastic soak. Breaky provisions were simple but adequate. The four poster bed was incredibly comfy and hard to get out of. Was a bit worried the shower wasn't going to work... More

if cosy, cute and "different" is what you're after, you can't go wrong at Alice's. We stayed three nights in the Boudoir and loved it. Set in a single, spacious room with lounge, kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom, the space was warm, inviting and a lot of fun. Featuring all the amenities you could ever want, from spa bath to iPod... We spent 3 nights in Shambles Scottish Cottage, one of a series of cottages run by Louise and Robbie, 15 minutes walk from the centre of Launceston. Our cottage had a Scottish theme - pictures, wall hangings, books all related to Scotland. The cottage had 4 separate rooms which was bliss - we were able to spread out. The heating... More

Close to town and a supermarket, these six themed cottages set in a pretty cottage garden were a wonderful find. Beautifully decorated and complete with open fire, yummy breakfast ingredients and laundry facilities. We were adopted by one of the six resident cats. Heaven!

What a delightful place! We stayed in the Camelot themed cottage and we loved it. There were wonderful, dramatic touches everywhere. It had a wonderful feel and came complete with a cosy open fire. All mod cons are there, but hidden away so as not to spoil the delightful atmosphere.

My husband and I stayed here for five nights for our honeymoon in the English Cottage. It was such a lovely stay. The cottage had great character and was warm and cozy. The owners supplied us with an awesome breakfast basket and noticed our breakfast preferences - restocking us with plenty of milk and coffee. It was very central to... More
