Stayed in this for two nights. The foyer was quite impressive and nice. The room was clean but the strange heating unit was not easy to operate. A revamp should brighten up the room and be an opportunity to install more power points and change the bath taps. Buffet breakfast was adequate with hot and cold food. The mushrooms were... More

After having stayed for two nights in their sister hotel in Hobart we admittedly did have high expectations of our accommodation in Launceston. Unfortunately it was beyond disappointing. On checkin they required authorisation of total stay - this was unlike Hobart who only required $1 authorisation amount. Now have to wait 4-5 working days for it to be reversed. Pays... More

So disappointed about my stay here. Recently stayed overnight on business travel. Beautiful entrance area and foyer, all lit up for Christmas. However the room is tired and disappointing. Cannot believe that they don't even have air conditioning, just a stand alone machine that pumps out cold air with a great deal of noise. Thank goodness I could open the... More

The room had previous occupants rubbish in it. I gave them benefit of doubt until I hopped into bed and felt something in it. Got out of bed, pulled back the sheets and eek they had not been changed! Bed had been remade with grubby sheets. They did come and change them but it left me with a really grubby... More

Scored this hotel on wotif mystery hotel deal. Booked two rooms, paid $101 (per room, per night) plus parking on-site $6/day, a bargain. Didn't have any expectation, especially after I read the reviews here. Arrived in the afternoon. Pleasantly surprised with immaculate clean rooms on lv 3, twin double beds (very comfy mattresses), modern bathroom (looks like we got refurbished... More

We were staying next door at Batman Fawkner and booked for dinner. Atmosphere was good, plenty of people coming and going but seating was a bit strange, all grouped in one corner in a massive dining room. Meals were good, service exceptional and wine selection equally good.A rewarding experience.

At check in I was not advised of the internet fees ($24.95) Parking $6 No mention of breakfast or business facilities The TV wasnt working properly & we... More

We stayed for one night. Very clean, just a bit dated, but is very central. Easy walking distance to the mall and surrounding shops. There is a fantastic little cafe just outside the back door entrance on the left walking out. The staff were fantastic & helpful and food was yummy.

The rooms are so dated and I was upgraded! The room Service breakfast and dinners overpriced and not great. Poached eggs for breakfast came on untoasted white bread ? $7 for a side order of chips for dinner and there were 12 chips!!! And the 3 cheese toast was white bread again not toasted with Melted Orange and yellow cheese... More
