We chose this property based on its location and style of accommodation and were delighted with our choice on both counts. The building is charming and beautifully appointed. Our apartment was spacious, well appointed and beautifully furnished. The kitchenette was surprisingly well appointed, including some microwave utensils, but lacking a stove top and dishwasher, of course. The bathroom in our... More

We choose this place to stay because it offered a good solution to the problem of traveling with two children (we got two adorning rooms). The rate was very good but we did not expect the Kilmarnock to be so beautiful. We all fell in love with the place, for me it was close to where I had to be... More

Kilmarnock is beautiful. We stayed in one of the Honeymoon rooms with ensuite it was perfect. Comfy bed and pillows, heater, TV, ensuite, and kitchenette. Plenty parking out the back for our Landrover Defender. Will come back

We have stayed at Kilmarnock House several times. The sad part now is that the owners, who have been THE owners for forever, are wanting to retire, and are trying to sell the establishment. The differences we noted on this stay were breakfast no longer being included and charges for laundry. However, they do supply soap and bleach for washing,... More

I stayed with family including my 91 year old father. Libby, the host, could not have been kinder or more helpful. The house is Edwardian, beautifully appointed with kitchenettes in each room. It is gracious and old but warm and comfortable. Delightfully furnished.!

A beautiful heritage building, huge room, very comfortable bed, good kitchenette and good location. Host Elizabeth was warm and friendly and the complimentary port & sherry much appreciated after a day out in the cold weather. I stayed 5 nights on a work trip and found it perfect, would highly recommend.

Lovely big solid Georgian guest house. Nicely furnished. Very comfy and a reasonable walk to the centre of town. Owner is lovely. Port and sherry on the landing is a nice touch. En suite and kitchenette included in the rooms are small and a little dated but functional. Overall a good stay. Would recommend.

There was not ONE thing wrong or missing or to complain about. It was great! We endorse all the good points. It's so refreshing to see someone go the extra mile. Fantastic and well done! I'd recommend this place wholeheartedly. The owner was so nice and just so professional.

The self contained apartment was clean and had all a fully equipped kitchen. Very close to a coles supermarket and 24 hr kmart. Everyday we would get some fruit and chocolate as a nice gesture. The house was old but part of the style and attraction

We stayed 2 nights at Kilmarnock House in room 10. We arrived but the host was not there. She had left the key in a little lock so we were able to enter the room without her being there. This was very convenient since I would not have wanted to wait! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There were... More
