Great if you want a permanent room. Very reasonable rates especially if you get a room at the back away from the weekend band noise. Excellent staff, very helpful. There's a 200 character requirement for this review. I done know why. I've pretty much said all that needs saying ;-)

Dirty hostel. Window was thrown in and no one cleans it. There was 1 spoon for 'all' the people in the hostel The hostel charged us $33 dollar each, but we found out that is was actually $24 (there was a sign in the hostel with the prices). We had to go to the bar opposite the hostel to ask... More

We had an anmazing time here. Its a nice and clean hostel in a great location very close to the city center. The staff was awesome, very friendly and helpfull. Linen and towels were all provided and each room has its own bathroom. The kitchen is clean and well provided with everything. Downstairs there is a lovely bar where you... More

They steal your $20 key deposit. The signs say when they will be open in the morning to return your key, but the hours they are actually open were different. Normally, an hour would not be a big thing, but my flight meant I could not wait for the new, changed hour. I wrote a note asking them to credit... More

The owners did forewarn regarding the noise, pity the noise wasn't the worst bit.... I was next door to a couple who had loud domestics every night and had the television on constantly at a very loud volume. As the walls are paper thin, it sounded like both activities were happening in my own room - I could hear every... More

Peep hole in wardrobe, overwhelming smell of bleach from ensuite, which was close to asphyxiating and that was after our original room was double booked. Cheap, therefore no surprise you get what you pay for.

When I rang to enquire and book, I was warned that there would be a band/DJ playing on the premises because it was Saturday night. I wasn't told that the band would be right outside our bedroom window and that they would be playing till 2 o'clock in the morning!! (or that there were complimentary earplugs available) The same window... More

Lowsy experience!!! We arrived late and tired, after a long day at Cradle Mountain. Payed for the room (24$ each - 4 bed dorm), left our luggage in the room and went out for dinner. When we came back, realized that there were no sheets nor blankets. The only thing was the sheet that covers the mattress, which had blood... More
