Stayed here for 2 nights on a stopover between Adelaide & Melbourne. We hadn't really done much research on where to stay but this motel was on the main road into Mount Gambier & seemed to have everything & we were not disappointed. We had an upgraded room which was large & very clean with superior furnishings. The staff were... More

Comfortable room with everything that you would need. Situated near a round about so traffic could be noisy so need to be mindful of this. Motel does have their own restaurant for dinner and breakfast but we didn't utilized the facility. Our room had a sticky bathroom door that wouldn't roll properly and would get jammed all the time. Appears... More

I booked 3br unit located outside hotel. Arriving 6.45 at night to checkin at hotel & get key to unit. We were told where and how to drive there. Having trouble looking for the place as it was dark, no street lite. We used torch to look for house no. After finding it we can't open the door :( so... More

We had a brief one night stay at the Commodore on The Park. Our room was very quite and we were not aware of any passing traffic. The room was newly fitted out in the standard of a grand motel in metro city. Large comfortable bed and room with new state of the art fittings - large showers, frosted glass... More

Does not pretend to be a five star city hotel. Great location. Put in a superior room which included a spa and kitchenette. A bit sad as it was only a one night stay, and had the room to myself! Room good tho a bit worn in places. Didn't try the spa. Bed comfortable. Staff excellent, as were bar &... More

On a road trip with friends, we stayed in 2 rooms. A little crowded with 4 people in one room! Free wifi worked well, and late arrival and checkout easily arranged. Traffic noise not too bad - easily camouflaged with TV. Only 1 room had security chain. Would stay here again.

I have stayed at this motel twice a year for the past 8 years and the rooms have got worse each stay. A lot of money needs to be spent on the rooms. Our latest (ROOM 17) had two single beds jammed in with the double and a strangely placed desk and 2 chairs between them. Our shower screen was... More

Stayed in a deluxe studio room, very spacious and nicely furnished upgraded room. Ate dinner at the restaurant which was an extremely good meal with a great wine menu. All staff i met were very friendly and efficient and a asset to the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel.

Not sure if my room was representative but a bit of money needs to be spent on the rooms or they'll slip badly. Mine had two single beds jammed in with the double and a strangely placed desk and 2 chairs between them. Power outlet very awkward to get to, otherwise pretty much stock-standard. Restaurant is very good, location likewise.... More
