On a road trip with friends, we stayed in 2 rooms. A little crowded with 4 people in one room! Free wifi worked well, and late arrival and checkout easily arranged. Traffic noise not too bad - easily camouflaged with TV. Only 1 room had security chain. Would stay here again.

I have stayed at this motel twice a year for the past 8 years and the rooms have got worse each stay. A lot of money needs to be spent on the rooms. Our latest (ROOM 17) had two single beds jammed in with the double and a strangely placed desk and 2 chairs between them. Our shower screen was... More

Stayed in a deluxe studio room, very spacious and nicely furnished upgraded room. Ate dinner at the restaurant which was an extremely good meal with a great wine menu. All staff i met were very friendly and efficient and a asset to the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel.

Not sure if my room was representative but a bit of money needs to be spent on the rooms or they'll slip badly. Mine had two single beds jammed in with the double and a strangely placed desk and 2 chairs between them. Power outlet very awkward to get to, otherwise pretty much stock-standard. Restaurant is very good, location likewise.... More

They describe family room as a 'large' room. It is not large. We queried this and the reply was "oh well, will pass it onto management". There must be nice rooms here based on other feedback. We did expect at least a microwave in a 'family' room - there isn't. They did let us use the microwave in the kitchen... More

A popular and reliable country motel in a convenient location. Refurbished "balcony" rooms are stylish and comfortable. Food is very good. Every staff member was friendly and welcoming. We were made to feel "at home". Good value. Recommended.

Stayed for three nights in one of the deluxe rooms, that looks like it had been recently refurbished. Room was very clean and tidy and comfortable. We were in a room that was not facing the main road but could still hear some truck noise but nothing that put us off staying there. This motel is convenient to the city... More

Driving through Mount Gambier to Melbourne, this was a terrific spot for a comfortable nights sleep. Booked via internet whilst on the road and check-in was very simple and fast. Staff were very friendly and happy to answer any questions. The room we had, Number 30, was newly renovated - very nice, modern and plenty of room. The heater was... More
