Room was clean and tidy, however we requested a later check out and were told only 30 minutes was possible, this was despite the hotel having plenty of vacant rooms. Other than that the service was satisfactory.

Clean , Neat, nicely refurbished, Comfortable bed, and a good spot to stay on a busy Holiday week end ..Excellent value and a typical Motel , of the era. Hot shower and plenty of parking on site, When next we return, have no hesitation of re booking the Econo Lodge.

Adequate accommodation- bit dated, but was perfect for an overnight stay. Kettle wasn't clean- but no deal breakers. The location was good, and it was easy to find. Staff were very friendly and there was a lot of information about what to do on our stay

The staff were friendly but the room was very old, housekeeping wasn't great and the fridge door was rusty. Very little in the room as far as tea/coffee facilities. 2 cups, 2 glasses and 2 spoons all of which hadn't been washed properly.

We received a warm welcome from very friendly and efficient staff. The room was basic, and a little dated, but scrupulously clean. The bed was very comfy - more so after we found the spare pillows in the chest of drawers. Highly recommended.

We were driving to the Great Ocean Road and wanted an inexpensive place to stay for one night. The Econo Lodge fit the bill. It's an older building and could use some updating, but was comfortable enough for our needs. The staff was friendly and helpful in directing us to a local restaurant, as well as a few tips for... The Econo Lodge was about 15 min walk from the main street. It was a very good price with lovely front office staff. The room was so clean and tidy that I had to jump on the bed. ..( Sorry. ....I couldn't help it)....haha

Stayed in a double room with an extra single bed. Room is average, smelt nice as soon as we walked in. Bed & linen was descent we did have a good nights sleep. Shower & bathroom really small, only one towel rail for a room that can sleep up to 3. When we first arrived I noticed we only had... More

Thank you for your review. I apologise that you felt upset with the receptionist. The reason we ask for your room number is to ensure the housekeeping staff are finishing the rooms to the guest's satisfaction. If there are not enough towels for the guests, we need to find the reason that has happened. Unfortunately, on this occasion, the request... More

We had an overnight stop here, it was very cheap to stay and as such delivered for the price we paid. There was a strange airfreshner smell in the room, and the shower was tiny, and furnishings old. However it was clean, and I didn't think we would have a good nights sleep, but we both slept really well. There... More

Very helpful and friendly staff. Free and good working wifi. Sights and center with restaurants can be reached by car in minutes. Good recommendation for restaurant. Rooms average, rather old but comfortable.
