I have just had 5 nights at the Clarendon Chalet. It was a lovely get away and time to see my daughter and grandies. The chalet was well presented and kitted out. Very comfortable with lovely touches. Loved the north facing aspect, the visiting pea hens, the slow combustion heater and overall ambience. Would return again.

The location of these chalets is peaceful, calm and relaxing. It is set on a working farm with hens laying eggs, guinea fowl pecking for food and farmers chopping wood. There is a delightful orchard to waddle through while you look over undulating farmland scattered with cows, horses and sheep. The owners and staff were lovely to deal with and... More

We loved our 2 night stay at the Clarendon Chalet, beautiful picturesque surrounds, and pleasant facilities with good amenities and supplies. We loved watching the baby lambs play outside right near our room, and loved the beautiful fresh country air! The steakhouse is literally 200mtrs up the road, and is utterly delicious. We would stay here again, thank you

We stayed here for a couple of nights and found it to be a good value for money B & B. We had the studio room, so no separate bedroom if that's a problem for you. The chalet had everything we could think of and was self contained. Any pot/pan or cooking utensil (except strangely a wooden spoon) could be... More

Great slightly out if town location, no problem with a car. Clean cabins (orchard and garden). Good furniture. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Ideal for small, young families who want a separate living area from bedrooms. Only tiny grumble is a few light bulbs were dud. But a very lovely enjoyable, relaxing stay.

A beautiful chalet 8 km outside of Mt. Gambier. They have thought of absolutely everything. Kitchen, room, and bathroom facilities, - even a bed warmer. Very generous with supplies. Fresh flowers in the room. Very private and very comfortable. Excellent for couples. Highly recommended. Note that it is a bit remote from the town.

The chalets are just out of town and have everything you need for a great stay: quiet location, full kitchen, tv, dvd player and an amazing restaurant down the road. Although the office is unattended it wasn't a problem as everything was taken care of. We did have some issues with the internet not working but the management provide a... More

We stayed for three nights over Christmas. The facilities are excellent and the setting is peaceful and quiet. Although the reception office wasn't open, the communication is excellent and understanding of special circumstances. The Christmas Spirit was spread with beautiful decorations. The room was clean and spacious with all facilities needed for self catering and suggestions for eating out. The... More

We stayed in the studio chalet - very comfortable with everything we needed. It is very quiet and peaceful but only 8 kilometres from town. The surrounding gardens are lovely. We would be happy to stay there again and would recommend the chalets.

We arrived late in the day and found a note with directions to our room. We stayed in the studio chalet. The room was lovely and cosey, the shower was great and it had everything we wanted. It's easy to find and close to Mount Gambier. The owner called around 7pm to check that everything was ok. We would definitely... More
