Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It's a bit out of town but that makes it even better. Very clean facility, all kitchen utensils etc available. Comfy beds. Pot belly heater kept the place warm. Good breakfast supplies. Very enjoyable stay.

What a gorgeous little spot! We stayed in the garden chalet at Clarendon Chalets on a stopover from Adelaide to Ballarat. The garden chalet was spacious and extremely well equipped. Beautiful gardens & a cubby house for the kids to explore. Next time we will definitely stay for longer as there is so much to see & do in the... More

We stayed in the Orchard chalet here for 4 nights on our honeymoon in April 2015, initially we were heading to Vanuatu but Cyclone Pam intervened. I wouldn't change a thing about the stay, it was the best! Well priced, private, simple with a bit of luxury. The wood fire kept us nice and warm, the spa was perfect and... More

I stayed here for almost 3 weeks for work and it was the best accommodation I've had for a work trip. Lovely rural setting and welcoming staff. It was so nice to come back from work and have a beer in front of the wood stove. I also stole a bunch of their avocados off the tree ;) We warned... More

The chalets are located around 5-10 miles outside the town of Mount Gambier...the Clarke road address is not enough to help you with finding this place...so do research well before heading out. We loved the quaint chalets set in 3 acres of lovely gardens, trees, a huge trampoline and a cute children's cubby hole. The breakfast supplies were kept in... More

We arrived with just a note on the door, no welcome. Room was cold and uninviting we were in the studio. No view, just dead plants, 2 old chairs to sit on. Bathroom basic, breakfast basic, white bread. No information or maps of the area. Towels not changed and still damp from previous day. Then the electric went off !

Our two night stay was wonderful. The chalet was decorated beautifully and the little extras supplied in the kitchen, such as cling wrap, paper towels, oil etc. were greatly appreciated. There was also plenty of food for breakfast both days. The guest laundry was stocked with laundry powder. Clarendon Chalets was the best accommodation we stayed in during our 2... More

I have just had 5 nights at the Clarendon Chalet. It was a lovely get away and time to see my daughter and grandies. The chalet was well presented and kitted out. Very comfortable with lovely touches. Loved the north facing aspect, the visiting pea hens, the slow combustion heater and overall ambience. Would return again.

The location of these chalets is peaceful, calm and relaxing. It is set on a working farm with hens laying eggs, guinea fowl pecking for food and farmers chopping wood. There is a delightful orchard to waddle through while you look over undulating farmland scattered with cows, horses and sheep. The owners and staff were lovely to deal with and... More

We loved our 2 night stay at the Clarendon Chalet, beautiful picturesque surrounds, and pleasant facilities with good amenities and supplies. We loved watching the baby lambs play outside right near our room, and loved the beautiful fresh country air! The steakhouse is literally 200mtrs up the road, and is utterly delicious. We would stay here again, thank you
