The room was clean and refurbished (paid extra for this). The car park was in the open in a vacant block adjacent to the block. Breakfast was not served in the restaurant - a bit strange. more

We spent 5 nights in an 11th floor room with a very nice view over Adelaide city. Unlike some of the other reviewers we didn't experience any problems & enjoyed our stay at the motel. Room was a reasonable size, very clean & very quite, & just a couple of minutes walk (literally) to the beach & marina. The breakfast... more

Thank you for your contribution. Please feel free to ask for your preferred view next time you stay. Regarding our breakfast room, we have some changes planned for the coming year to improve our offerings for both cooked and the free continental breakfasts. Best Regards, James Brown Manager

High priced room smelt of mould, upstairs toilet leaked all night, the room was not renovated however we booked and paid for a newly renovated room at $175 for the night. Manager was uncooperative and blamed WOTIF. We followed up with a letter to the Manager after our holiday. His response was to offer 25% of next booking. The whole... more

I typically thank reviewers for sharing factual experiences from their stay, particularly as feedback is a great tool for us to improve the Atlantic Tower; however I am not permitted to share my thoughts on the accuracy of this review. Despite that… Put simply, you were given a free upgrade from a Refurbished Balcony Room to a Spa Room worth...

I booked a double room for myself and my 14 year old grandaughter. The room had one king size bed which we had to share not an ideal situation. The room was on the first floor and had not been refurbished for years, the carpet was split down the entire length of the room it was stained as was the sofa in... more

Thank you for providing thoughts on your stay with us at the Atlantic Tower. We have a variety of rooms available with multiple beds, however a “double room” is the industry term for a room with one bed for two people. Conversely a “twin room” describes a room with two separate beds. Did you contact our reception and query if...

We stayed three nights at the Atlantic Tower Motor Inn; two nights in a cheaper unrennovated first-floor room and a third night in a 10th-floor refurbished room. The location was great, easy to access and staff were helpful and accommodating. I'd booked the cheaper room on-line as it was the only option offering family accommodation. It was clean and functional... more

Thank you for your contribution PippinCat – we do appreciate guests taking the time to provide feedback. We only have a few family orientated rooms with multiple bedding – all of which are on the 1st floor. We don’t advertise the upper floors as accommodating anything more then their queen bed, as we prefer to maintain the open space in...

This was an ideal location for seeing the sights of Glenelg and nearby Adelaide. A 30 min (max) tram ride into the heart of the city of Adelaide meant that we were close to everything we needed. We had a wedding at one of the hotels nearby, so it was a short stroll towards the marina, which is first class,... more

Thanks KB and BS for sharing your thoughts on your stay. We are very fortunate to have such a great location here at the Bay – it’s a popular spot any time of year. Our round tower is quite iconic in the area – made all the better with the new rooms. We look forward to seeing you in the...

I stayed at the Atlantic for a second time because work booked me in. I had stayed there some time ago and had no desire to go back again, but found the place had had a big facelift this time round (room was $150AUS). The girl who checked me in was friendly and had a good knowledge of restaurants around... more

Thank you for sharing your review of the Atlantic Tower Motor Inn. We are very happy to be at the tail end of our refurbishment. The room you stayed in is an indication of the type of quality we are applying throughout our facility. Our brand new 9th floor breakfast room is about to be opened, as the old 10th...

My wife and I (both over 70) booked in for 3 nights, found the beds were clean but the rest of the room was unclean, shower had mould on the walls had to clean toilet seat before before we could use it, cups had brown rings around the inside. We went out to KFC to get something for our dinner... more

Dear Mr. *Name Withheld*, I have been awaiting your follow through with regard to you publicising what occurred during your stay with us, as my discussion with your daughter a couple days after inferred you would do all you could to defame the name of the Atlantic Tower. You have even joined Tripadvisor for this specific purpose. I had hoped...

We stayed here knowing it might be a bit grungy, but Frommer's said it was cheap, clean and they'd totally recommend it. What were they thinking?? We were given a free upgrade to some nasty pit rooms - I shudder to think if we'd not been upgraded. Dirty, small, and the balconies totally gross - ours had a pigeaon nest... more

Thank you for voicing your concerns, I apologise that your stay here was not a satisfying one. I am a little confused about your reference to the ‘pit rooms’, as one of the features we are renowned for are the great views from the 9th, 10th and 11th floors – all of which have the private balconies you refer to....

Had a great time at this motel. Good clean rooms with upper floors having spectacular views from your own balcony. Hosts were friendly and gave good advice and local information. Great beach only a minute's stroll. Revolving restaurant sat on top of the motel and had great seafood. Would go there again..motel and restaurant. more
