I planned on staying in Glenelg Beach Hostel for 2 weeks when i arrived at the begining of January and i've only just left 3 months later! Absolutally loved it! The location is amazing, only a minutes walk to the beach, located by all shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars and directly on the tram line to the city! The guys... More

There is nothing to say, this hostel is a good one. Very well-kept and clean, no bad surprises. The rooms are wide and there are no bunk bed, which is great. Moreover, you have free internet and free morning breakfast. The staff is friendly. There is great terace. And it's very well situated in Glenelg, close to the beach, and... More

A very good position to stay in as all you need is right there eg food pubs and public transport ,quite a quiet location at night despite being on the main bus terminal .Rooms are ok a bit cramped compared with other places we stayed but was ok ,on the downside there are not enough showers to cope with the... I stayed in Glenelg for two nights in a private room. Interior furniture was very basic. Just a bed and a bedside table and a mirror. The carpet looked very filthy (full of stains you actually don't wanna know what it was). Shared bathrooms were ok, i had them most of the time for myself and they where more or... More

The bathrooms were really clean and although the rooms were quite basic there was free toast and fixings for breakfast and wifi was included in the common areas which were was sweet. and again you seriously couldnt get a better location the tram and... We stayed at the Glenelg Beach Hostel before going on a Dolphin Swim with Temptation Sailing. I was always a little worried about staying in a hostel but Glenelg Beach Hostel changed my views. We stayed in the private room very close to shared bathroom. The room was extremely basic, it included a small work top, a few cupboards, a... More

I stayed here with my sister and 2 friends over Xmas for 4 nights. Firstly I'll say this is an amazing location it's 2 minutes to the main shopping street (jetty road) and 5 minutes to the beach. The guy who booked us in was really nice and gave us our own 4 bed dorm. The hostel is like a... More

Stayed here a week and have no complaints. The rooms were tidy and the beds comfortable, had very nice sleeps in them. The hostel can be a bit of a maze at times, but seeing as it's a few Victorian era looking townhouses knocked together to make this hostel, i dont see any issue with this as the charm and... More

Decoratively a little tired, but full of character and ticks all the boxes. Excellent location in Glenelg and very accessible to the tram into Adelaide city (20-30 minutes). The free wifi, tea & coffee as well as breakfast toast all appreciated. Staff helpful and everything works. Friday night we had live music which was good, fun and busy. Saturday there... More
