If you are looking for something other than the drab walls of a standard hotel, the Vacy Hall Historic Guesthouse might be for you! Surrounded by old world charm, the rooms are quaint and comfortable, each with individual design. It is worth a look through the rest of the guesthouse just for the abundance of antique furniture and knick-knacks. The... More

Came back here for our wedding anniversary since my husband and I stayed there the night before our wedding. Just as beautiful as I remember. I can't remember the ladies name who served us unfortunately but she was delightful. If you are looking for a romantic historical stay and want to be a royal for a day this is the... More

Loved it. Stayed one night mid week and it was perfect. We had a very early leave time but they were still able to deliver our breakfast to us. We stayed in the very large 'room 4' which has a massive bed. There were vents in the room which kept us toasty warm. Thank you to the Vacy team for... More

Vacy Hall was a delightful surprise! Housed in a heritage 'Queenslander', this charming guesthouse is one of the best accommodation options in Toowoomba, just 5 minutes walk from the center of town. The rooms are decorated in period style and are very comfortable. Breakfast is additional, but well worth the cost for the quality and choice of options. Ideal for... More

I’ve just returned to ‘real life’ in Brisbane after spending Saturday night at Vacy Hall with a girlfriend. Both our rooms were great – full of atmosphere and lovely old-style furnishings. My room with fireplace was a great treat on a very cool night although the house was very warm with the central heating. A full breakfast on the verandah... More

Sipping a glass of red in front of a blazing log fire within a beautifully appointed, absolutely charming Guesthouse. Should you ask for more? If you do want for more; a delicious hot breakfast served on the verandah each morning and sensational restaurants within walking distance make for a memorable stay at Vacy Hall.

What a beautiful guest house and so close to the middle of town. It sits opposite a fantastic restaurant called "Gips" and the price was on par with the going rate of most nearby motels. Booked! We arrived a little later than most people and we had advised management of this. They left an envelope taped to their office door... More

Dear "AussieExplorer", Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback on your visit to Vacy Hall this week. I am glad you found Vacy Hall very pretty, beautiful and super convenient. However many of your other comments are unfair because they are based on a number of inaccurate assumptions that would not have occurred if you had arrived during office... More

I have stayed at Vacy Hall several times and i have photographed models there as well and each time I am awes struck by the beauty of this historic home. The rooms are huge.I stayed in room 1, the Kings Suite, and it is beautifully appointed. The bed is very comfortable and the location of the hotel is central to... More

A very nice...guest house (not a hotel). The breakfast was great, fresh simple and delicious. The rooms (ours was very small) but none the less charming and romantic We took advantage of the fireplace which added great atmosphere......a small criticism, our room we had did not have comfortable chairs which negated the opportunity to sit and enjoy the fire with... My daughter and I stayed in this beautiful old house for two nights with our two very techno minded teenage grandchildren , what a wonderful gift to be able to give them an insight into times passé . We loved our large ensuite room and authentic furniture the room was very cozy and well heated but lighting the fire gave... More
