We spent 4 wonderful days here in Nov 2013. Cannot speak highly enough of the way Brian and Lyn looked after us. All meals were fantastic, room was perfect and the walks and beaches were so natural and unspoilt. A truly wonderful experience.

Our week at Keswick Island Guest House was outstanding. Lyn and Brian are great hosts; Lyn is an excellent chef; every meal was a celebration. Brian attended to our every need. They were congenial company, as were the other guests. We were included in two local festivities: Canoodling by the beach, and the Melbourne Cup luncheon at the Guest House.... More

My Wife and I stayed for 5 nights in July 2013. We are the type of people that like unspoilt places, enjoy walks and get immersed in the natural environment. But we also like a little luxury too! Keswick Island Guest House provides a perfect balance of a holiday in a wonderful natural beach and forest setting where we felt... More

Words can't describe how fabulous our stay at Keswick Island Guest House was. This is truly an up-market experience, but with a "homely" touch. From the greetings by Lyn and Brian at the airstrip, the introduction to our lavish suite with its ocean views, watching Lyn as "masterchef" in the massive kitchen while we chatted over a pre-dinner drink, nibbles... Just flying to Keswick was a treat. We were the only ones on the charter flight. Our pilot circled over a breaching whale for us. The view was stunning. We were greeted at the airstrip by Brian in a buggy. I am a wheelchair user, but the pilot and Brian were totally un-phased, they just let me do my thing... More

We spent 3 days & nights at the guesthouse, which is a 12 minute flight from Mackay. The island is pristine tropical rainforest, with only 19 permanent residents. There's several walks & empty beaches to enjoy, with many birds & the famous thousands of butterflies. We saw whales several times. Lyn & Brian are excellent hosts, with Lyn cooking some... More

A guest house in Paradise. I walk daily in a rain forest swamped by clouds of butterflies. I eat oysters off the rocks 300 meters from my accommodation. I swim and snorkel on the reef just off the beach and catch fish off the rocks at the change of tide. My daily caffeine shot is taken overlooking the strait between... More

Picturesque, pristine island paradise. Very comfortable, roomy guesthouse perched on the side of a cliff with breathtaking views over Horseshoe Bay. Lyn and Brian were the most amazing hosts who went out of their way to cater for our every need. Nothing was too much trouble. Food to die for combined with five-star service made our stay here relaxing and... More

Thanks to Lyn and Brian, my husband and I had the most relaxing and romantic weekend. The food is amazing, the company is fantastic, and of course the island itself is out of this world. We will be back to experience the diving and snorkling when we have more time. A beautiful house with stunning views - the rooms are... More
