This place is very modern, very clean and seems to be a fairly new facility. There is a convience store close by, an attached restaurant, and fast food in the area. The staff were good and efficient. Although i live here me and my boyfreiend stayed here overnight. It's a very good place to say and cant fault it. The rooms are modern and everything is in working order. The resturant also serves fantastic meals! more

We drive from Cairns to Sydney fairly regularly and always make this motel one of our stopovers. A modern new building with large rooms in a quiet location with a good restaurant all at a reasonable price. Thats why we keep coming back more

The Windmill Motel is a wonderful place to stay. We stay over in Mackay quite regularly and the only place we'll book is the Windmill. The rooms aren't overly large but they are very clean and tidy. The Motel is also positioned in a good area of the town. #1 place to stay in Mackay. more
