We stayed at this hotel for one night in December 2015 as part of our 3 week holiday to Australia. We were on our way to Heron Island the next day. The hotel is overpriced, stunk of cleaning products and was still dirty, we couldn't wait to leave. There is nothing in Rockhampton, in fact we didn't feel particularly safe... More

Please accept my apology for this incident, I have worked in Hotels/Motels for over 25 years and this is the first time I have ever not booked a taxi for a guest. I am very sorry for the stress it would have caused you on the day and the fact that our battery powered door bell did not work as... More

We were only in Gladstone for one night so choose to stay in a modest cheaper hotel. A big mistake. The room was clean and spacious however highly overpriced for the basic nature of the room. On arrival we asked the hotel manager to book an early transfer (5.30am) to the airport. He ensured us that he would do that... More

Room was clean & reasonably large, close to a wide range of dining options or the Valley shopping centre. Quick tip- save money & book on line I could get a room online for $99 (+$5.50 credit card cost) but a walkin costs $120.

This hotel has large reasonably clean rooms and a great location in the centre of Gladstone walking distance to woolworths, the main street and bars and hatch club (all within about 1km)...or just a cheap taxi fare. The staff are really helpful and friendly and they had a charge back for meals to the queens hotel bar and grill directly... More

Very exhausted after a full day travelling. The name of the motel inspired us!! The price was quoted at $190 but receptionist offered a discount to $140 it was close to a tavern & husband said if it was clean to take so we could go & have a well earned drink. On initial inspection it didn't look too bad... More

Clean, basic the TV colour was a light purple the lamps didn't work all the bulbs had blown. It was dark getting to the room with minimal outside lighting. There was only a queen bed and single 2 chairs.

It's a simple place but very friendly. Free wifi. Got a discount upon arrival wich was nice. The room was quite big and the bathroom was it up date. Clean as well and travelers amenities as toothbrush, sewingkit, razor etc were all in place. The reception guy was nice enough and gave good advice in where to eat and drink.... More

I stayed in an executive deluxe room, except there was nothing executive or deluxe about it. When I had a shower the pipes were so loud I thought they were going to explode, neighbouring rooms complained to reception about the noise and I was told a plumber was going to be organised for the next day. That never happened. There... More

We were very happy with our stay at this motel. The room was lovely and big with modern furnishings. Shower was great and bed was comfortable. The rate we received for the room was very reasonable. We will return to this motel when we need to stay in Gladstone again.

Recently spent three nights at this motel. Accommodation is expensive in Gladstone and you don't get what you pay for; that's just how it is. This motel is perfectly adequate. I had a family room which was spacious and also had a spa bath. Complimentary bottled water and toiletries were provided. The room had a small bar fridge, tea/coffee amenities... More
