We got upgraded to a room on the top (4th floor) with an ocean view.. The room was clean and neat ( although a bit dated), It had a king size Rydges Dream bed which was absolutely divine! BUT, what's the use of a heavenly bed when there is the sound of running water ALL night. It was like a... More

The hotel is in a great position with easy walking distance to the lovely marina area where you can enjoy a lovely picnic under beautiful fig trees, the kids can use the well cared for playground too. That is my favourite spot in Gladstone and if staying there for any length of time take a short drive to Tannam Sands,... More

The day before arrival I received a text saying I was "pre checked in" and should just proceed to the express check in counter. This hotel only has one counter. That was okay as it was quiet. On checking in I was told that the hotel restaurant was closed tonight (Saturday night) and that included room service. That did not... More

The hotel and my stay was great. The only very small complaint i have is that the air conditioning in my room was quite loud. The price wqs fair, the location was where I needed to be, and the amenities were also good.

Stayed overnight for business. Comfortable, clean bedding and clean bathroom. Carpets stained and dirty, definitely overdue for heavy cleaning. Unfortunately had a unpleasant nights sleep due to extremely annoying constant running water in the roof space above air con. Food was good though.

Dear Nobby390, Thank you for your commentary. We do have a plan to replace the hallway carpet in the near future, which hopefully will be done shortly. I am sorry about the running water noise you experienced. We do believe this has now been rectified. I do hope you will return to the hotel again and I am pleased you... More

My wife and I stayed at Gladstone for 10 days over the Xmas period. Originally we booked into a self contained apartment which on entering was filthy. There was a tray of food outside the door and on entering food scraps had been spilt on the carpet, the boiled egg shells and toast must have dropped off the tray and... More

Dear GlendaAllan, I do appreciate you taking the time to detail your experience over Christmas. I am most concerned regarding the fire evacuation and we have undergone more training with the team to ensure all proper procedures are followed. I have also addressed the cleaning issues during your stay and I am confident they have been rectified. Sincerely, Edward Brennan More

This hotel for business is okay. It has the bare essentials and free wifi. However, from my experience at staying at other locations in gladstone it is well overpriced for what you get. I would recommend for anyone travelling in a group of two or more you stay at a serviced apartment.

I don't know whether my room is typical of most others in this hotel, but it was really really tired The lifts made some odd noises, the carpets in the corridors had some odd stains and the whole place just looked like it badly needed a refurbishment Now, I know that Gladstone is not a place that people generally go...
