the manager so rude and unprofessional, I could not believe her behaviour. Within 10 minutes the female manager interrogated my children and their friend (without me present) regarding where they were all sleeping. she then accused me of having too many people sleeping in the apartment. when I explained this was not the case she demanded to know where everyone... Ever heard the saying 'cheap n nasty'? This place is the epitome. The apartment itself was cheap - not to be confused with economical - and the manager is nasty. Having arrived late on Friday I made the terrible error of not checking at reception the next morning. We were out and about by 7am and did not return until... More

We stayed at the Rainbow Commodoere Holiday Apartments for 10 nights. Our apartment was on the 12th floor and offered lovely views of the ocean and surrounding areas, it was very spacious, clean and well equipped. The hosts Chris and Brian are very strict, but helpful and professoinal. We liked the location of this propery as it is within walking... More

We have been holidaying in Coolangatta for the past 15 years, we love the beaches! Early in the second week of our stay at the Rainbow Commodore a strong wind blew down the curtains in the main bedroom, I rang management and asked them kindly to do their best to fix it. On management's arrival to our unit my 15... More

The management was very unfriendly, unhelpful and rude! The room was good but the floor was dirty when we told the manager he said there is a mop and bucket in your room! The pool's chemicals were unbalanced, the children's skin was very itchy after swimming. The view was good and a short walk to the beach.

I would never stay at these apartments again! The apartments themselves are lovely, but the old couple, particularly the man is extremely rude and made our family feel very unwelcome as soon as we walked through the door. I would advise you stay elsewhere if you like a warm friendly reception. What a shame, they really should get into another... More

From the moment we arrived we where made to feel welcome and comfortable, the staff were so friendly and helped us out with finding a babysitter for one of the nights we stayed. The accommodation was so clean and tidy, really comfy and the views were superb, even on the 4th floor. We loved our stay and will be back... More

We've just returned from a delightful weekend in a 9th floor apartment from this complex. We had a wonderful, expansive view and were able to walk to all the restaurants and cafes in the area. It's just a short stroll to a beautiful beach and playground making it an ideal location for families. While we never got around to using... More
