We stayed here for this year’s country music festival after staying in the suburbs and relying on buses in previous years. Sure, this is an older motel where the hot water fades in and out during a shower, but where else can you stay for the festival in the CBD immediately adjacent to all the action? The other advantage is... More

Located near the CBD, the rooms are good and you have Pay TV. The service could have been better. The hotel is also reasonable for people on a budget. The laundry facilities are not crash hot. If you stay here, your close to resteraunts.

We stayed at this motel on a journey through Tamworth. We chose this motel because it was close to the CBD. Be prepared to be woken before 7am as the cleaning staff wheel their large trolleys around on the concrete balconies. Even though there was a sign re: NRMA, when I asked there was no discount offered. I would not... More

I think this is the only central hotel in Tamworth, so it is always full/busy. The rooms are adequate, although small with decent showers. Having stayed on several occasions the disconcerting point to me was that all the doors seem to have damage which indicates possible break ins, consequently anything of value was left in the car or kept with... Stayed here for one night as we needed a place to stay during a visit to Agquip. Reception was very friendly and welcoming. Room was 'oldish" but very clean and bedsheets were crisp. No complaints here at all. Easy to walk to town.

Old but clean motel and didn't find it noisy at all. Friendly staff and walking distance to town centre and most attractions. Wifi didn't work and staff member said she didn't know how to set it up when I enquired about it so I gave up. Very convenient free laundry available to motel patrons. Didn't eat at the motel but... We loved this place. Spacious room with very comfortable bedding and mattress; little fridge, kettle, cookies, table and chairs; air conditioning, fast wifi - all within a five minute walk from the main shopping/restaurant street in this handsome little city. For $110 why stay distant from town if you can just park and walk everywhere?

Stayed here one night and will never stay again. After arriving I thought I'd catch some of the cricket but our room didn't have channel 9 on the TV. Then I thought I'd make a cup of tea and the milk given to us at reception was off. Later that night we returned after attending an event and it was... More

This was an older Motel renovated. It was very convenient to shops Ex- Servicemens club, Catholic Church etc. The rooms were clean but the walls thin so a bit noisy.Reasonably priced$118. There is a music festival every year so vacancies would be scarce then.

Spent the night there and chose the City Sider because it was the most central I could find. 200m from city centre. Very good location. Was concerned by the review that said it was noisy and unclean, but took a punt and was pleased that I did. No road noise, but like any country motel where you park by your... More
