The main motel looks fairly stark and uninteresting. I don't know what the rooms are like there but, at the rear of the main building is, what looks like, a newer double storey building. There were three of us and we were booked in there. The ground floor was a lock-up garage for the car and above was the room.... More

My mum and I were traveling from Melbourne to Sydney with a young baby and dog, we needed a place between to cut the drive down a little, the Leagues Motel was perfect! After my past experience with dog friendly motels, I am very careful about booking a room where the dog is allowed inside. I called Leagues motel many... More

I take a group to the snow every year, stopping at the leagues motel on the way each time. I find the motel clean and comfortable with a micro wave for us to get a quick breakfast before leaving for Jindabyne in the morning. We are always greeted by Annie who we find to be always smiling and friendly on... More

We wanted to stay overnight in Queanbeyan knowing we were going to be at a party on the Saturday night and not wanting to drive home across the border to Canberra. Location is quiet and central, room is clean and well set out. Rooms are individually heated with a reverse cycle airconditioner but what that meant for us on arrival... More

Thanks for finding The Leagues Motel an affordable stay. We are a very reasonably priced clean and comfortable Motel , situated on the river. A short 2 min. walk over the bridge will take you to Queanbeyan city centre. Or a 20min drive will find you in Canberra city, Thanks we look forward to seeing you again. Annie More

We stayed in the motel for 2 nights and could not fault the cleanliness of the place. The shower had a huge shower head which was really good after a day sightseeing. There were a lot or workers in the place but they did not disturb us when they left early. The lady at reception was very helpful and the... More

We booked outside Canberra because everything reasonable was booked. Very lucky, Queanbeyan turned out to be a nice town, Leagues Motel has a very good location, just on the bank of quite picturesque river at the bridge, Leagues Club across the river, shopping center across, on the other side of the bridge, park. Our room (#12) was very clean, a... More
