We used our one night 'complimentary' stay as part of the Accor membership package, and were put in one of the worst rooms that stank from the odours coming up from the floor drainage pipe on the floor of the bathroom. We didn't notify the hotel as we weren't sure if they had any other rooms that night. The staff... More

The location itself is perfect. Park the car and forget it. You can walk everywhere - cafes, restaurants, shops, beach, pub, glasshouse theatre. My boyfriend and I went in March and spent sometime reading the reviews on here. We found that it's recommended to book a room above level four. We booked a privilege room and as a couple it... I would have paid more if there was the chance to get a... More

spent one night on way through to Sydney, found every thing more than acceptable, clean room, good dining at reasonable prices, easy walk to mall and water and would stay again, ample parking on street or pay at hotel

My husband, 14yo son and myself stayed one night on a Mystery Wotif booking. The room was clean and the sofa bed was set up for my son. The room, which was very hot, seemed quite small but this was probably because of the sofa bed. Our tv wouldn't work which normally would not be a problem, but the males... More

The Mercure Centro is a fairly standardised modern hotel, but does that very well. We were only doing an overnight stay so just booked a standard room but it was well furnished, clean, and a good size with a comfortable bed. The front counter staff were also friendly and helpful, even finding some toothpaste for us when we realised we... More
