The only positive of our stay was the location. Over priced for the condition of the accommodation and amenities. Property maintenance is non existent. Owners should read and take on board reviews from their guests. I suggest the owners invest some of their profit back into the park, it had so much potential. Will not be staying here again nor... It is hard to think of a worse place I have had the displeasure and discomfort of staying. The cabin was cold, damps and filthy. Most power points didn't work, the heater didn't work, we had to make the bed on arrival, the stains on the pillows could make your skin crawl. We debated about using them. The towels were... More

Cannot believe this is the same park we stayed at 4 years ago ...first thing we noticed was laundry facilities... there aren't any .. Maintenance in the park is nonexistent... toilets & showers are dirty & not cleaned every day .. Perfect place to stay on the coast but such a shame it has been let get so rundown.. We... More

We had a powered site for one night which was in the last row befor the sea. We really enjoyed the sunsets over the breakwall right from our campervan. WIFI is free but only worked in front of the reception.

Although the majority of reviews on Trip Advisor are bad I thought I'd give it a go. Let me tell you nothing has changed! Disgusting filthy cabin. I slept on top of bedspread as mattress was gross. Mound and smell everywhere. What amazes me is that nothing has been done to address comments made and the owners respond with sorry... More

Park is poorly maintained. Roads are full of potholes and looks like no money is being spent to maintain this park or its facilities. Looks like no money has been spent maintaining or upgrading facilities since the 1980's. The only reason you would stay here is its proximity to town. Worst caravan park we have stayed in on our caravan... More

We stayed at the Ocean View Cottages - what a joke! The stairs up onto the balcony were falling apart. Inside was dirty, the bed in the main bedroom was so old that the padding over the bedsprings was non-existent, very uncomfortable. The fridge in the kitchenette was falling forwards, rusted hotplates, dirty crockery, pots and pans. Do not stay... More

This is an old time caravan park - clean but basic. Plenty of facilities kept under lock & key with a security pass to enter. Most sites have good grass and shade. Walking to the town centre and booking for tours is a breeze

We had a family of 5 stay in a two bedroom cabin for two nights. 4 bunk beds mean that a family of six is easily accommodated. The cabins are tired but clean and everything works. The double bed in the main bedroom is just that, a double. No queen/king option so big units beware ;-). The only real problem... More

We were lucky to have a breakwater/water view direct cabin. The view was outstanding however for a premium cabin the quality was poor. The cutlery, plates, glassware, etc was very basic. Internal lighting was also poor. This would be a great location and experience if they spent money on the cabin facilities (especially as we were paying huge dollars for... More
