Park is poorly maintained. Roads are full of potholes and looks like no money is being spent to maintain this park or its facilities. Looks like no money has been spent maintaining or upgrading facilities since the 1980's. The only reason you would stay here is its proximity to town. Worst caravan park we have stayed in on our caravan... More

We stayed at the Ocean View Cottages - what a joke! The stairs up onto the balcony were falling apart. Inside was dirty, the bed in the main bedroom was so old that the padding over the bedsprings was non-existent, very uncomfortable. The fridge in the kitchenette was falling forwards, rusted hotplates, dirty crockery, pots and pans. Do not stay... More

This is an old time caravan park - clean but basic. Plenty of facilities kept under lock & key with a security pass to enter. Most sites have good grass and shade. Walking to the town centre and booking for tours is a breeze

We had a family of 5 stay in a two bedroom cabin for two nights. 4 bunk beds mean that a family of six is easily accommodated. The cabins are tired but clean and everything works. The double bed in the main bedroom is just that, a double. No queen/king option so big units beware ;-). The only real problem... More

We were lucky to have a breakwater/water view direct cabin. The view was outstanding however for a premium cabin the quality was poor. The cutlery, plates, glassware, etc was very basic. Internal lighting was also poor. This would be a great location and experience if they spent money on the cabin facilities (especially as we were paying huge dollars for... More

We are currently travelling round Australia and found ourselves stopping here for a few nights, camping. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the amenities are clean and tidy. There are a few areas to sit and relax on site, the pool appeared nice although I didn't use it. It is a short walk to the town centre which has... More

Having stayed in this park many times with our caravan we were horrified to find the Cabins were in a shocking state. These were the Ocean View cabins above the park. The linen was spotless and fresh but there it ends. The floors were sticky and the cabin smelled. We were with overseas visitors (hence staying in the cabins) they... More

We stayed on the 19th of May thankfully after reading comments in our own van. This park is a disappointment on many levels I am not sure if it is still owned by Council but someone should have a serious look at funding and management. We have stayed before some 20 years ago and looked forward to being in town... More

The park itself was lacking maintenance all round and we have stayed there for many years prior to this last visit. The caravan park has no concrete slabs for your caravan annex. Therefore when it rains your possessions get wet from the ground up. During our stay the grass was not mowed and considerably too high for a caravan park.... More
