We stopped over for 1 night on our way back from Sydney to Byron Bay. We pitched out tent near the lake and enjoyed a peaceful evening there. The facility are good and clean with hot showers. It's relatively near the highway but the noise isn't too bad. Thanks.

Perfect for a stopover on a long car trip. Housed the 8 of us...however, there was no pull out couch as advertised and had no idea I had to make my own beds! Comfortable, quiet and only a 15min drive into the heart of Port Macquarie

Stoney Park is looking a bit sad so lets give it our support and stay there when travelling on the highway. For a highway location it is quiet and comfortable. It is relaxing to walk around the lake. You can water ski. I give it 4 stars because it meets my need for a quiet, smoke free environment with plenty... More

I pre-booked the disabled unit/cabin a month in advance for one night on a road trip travels. the email exchanges were great and polite and i thought, great less stress for me with all our traveling. so on the date we booked we arrived to find that they had doubled booked the unit/cabin and had given it to the other... Its a little out of town , the lady who runs the place is friendly and helpful we could bring our dog with us so we were happy. The rumble of the highway at night takes a little getting used to so if you sleep light bear this in mind . The cabin was clean , the water hot, facilities... More

Stayed at Stoney Park for one week. Loved being out of town. Such a beautifully quiet and scenic park with acres for dogs to run free safely. Stayed in a villa with view of the lake. Spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Discovered this place by default but would go again for sure. Even without interest in skiing it was great... More

Stayed 1 night here- cabin looked okay from the outside but was situated so close to the Pacific Highway that the trucks passing all night long kept us awake. The inside smelt terrible- musty and damp. It needed a good clean. The walls were running with condensation and the mattress and pillows were old and very stained. We made the... More

Stayed for a night to break our journey from Canberra to Gold Coast. Nice and decent place. Lodge, in which we stayed, was neat and clean. Nice and pleasant stay. Price was pretty reasonable for the services provided. Watching birds and Kangaroos from your room was quite an experience. Very happy and a big thanks to the management!

Stopped for one night only. Rooms were very clean and the place was so peaceful and relaxed. Saw some kangeroos having a boxing match in the morning. Great Lakes, would definately love to come back in the summer for a ski and canoe.

We stayed at stoney park on the way to Queensland. Kim was very obliging and helpful with setting up our accomodation needs and ski lessons. We found the villa cabin to be quite comfortable and provided us with everything we needed for our stay. We booked ski lessons for my husband and children and are very happy that we did.... More
