The owners/operators are so friendly and helpful. Connie made us feel welcome from the minute we set foot inside reception, with her cheerful smile and great customer service. We felt happy supporting these small local operators. The location is really excellent: on a very quiet street but still within walking distance to the city centre and beaches. Parking is included.... More

Just spent two nights and found the owners so very friendly, more than helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean, bright and the pool was wonderful and the place was central to everything. Loved my stay and would stay there again.

No complaints from my quick overnight here. Owners were friendly and fast on checkin. Helpful with recommendations. Room was cheap and cheerful but immaculately clean, crisp white sheets, bathroom spotless with a nice selection of products. Big plus was the balcony, which was big enough to enjoy. Great location in the middle of town and the town beach. Would stay... More

Friendly owners with a nice size room and modern bathroom. Comfortable single and queen size beds. Wish I'd noticed the free wifi earlier. Only two downsides, the air conditioning unit was really loud and a little dated while one of the fellow guests with a disability permit had to park across two spots due to a lack of disability parks.... We stayed here for three nights after a long drive. The ground floor rooms with patio are great and are stocked with everything you could need. There is a BBQ available for use by residents which we took advantage of. The onsite pool is a good size and is a real sun trap! Bed is very comfortable and good, powerful... More

Lovely staff - they were happy to wait for us checking in late. Room was very nice and exceeded our expectations. The motel is also within walking distance to the shops if you wanted to catch a movie or grab something to eat. The beach is also very close.

We stayed for 2 nights. Room is ok but the balcony view is a brick of wall. So we have not used the balcony at all. Next time we will ask for another with better view. Our room number was 14 with wall view! The lade was very friendly!

we stayed in the family room up the back. It was a room with a double bed and a single bed, then an adjoining room with another 2 single beds. The rooms were very neat and tidy and the location to the main part of town was a stones throw. It was a good overnighter.

Great price, super friendly and helpful owners, and walking distance to everything. The rooms had everything we needed and the kids were kept well entertained with the pool. Was impressed enough to stay on our return drive back to Brisbane.

I had a lovely welcome from the manager or owner (not sure) who informed me my room would have been 20% cheaper if I had booked it direct rather than Wotif, groan. Then she said my bathroom was dated and due for renovation, groan groan. Anyway the room was a 1970 motel style thing with an aircon that made heaps... More
