Cockroaches, mould, stains on bed, old and very run down. No chain or latch lock on internal side of doors, not very secure. Rubbish and junk in car park for guests to see. People running the place were heard swearing and carrying on on their balcony (they live in one of the rooms but aren't the owners of the motel)... More

Didn't see in my life more terrible place than this apartment! Bruce told us to call him when we are on the way to make sure room is ready so that's what happened until we arrived there- Room was so smelly, full of dust, bin still on the floor, beds are untidy no linen, no towels, no shampoo, no dish... On arrival was overwhelmed by putrid smell of one overflowing rubbish bin in the parking area for 12 apartments. Walked up dirty stairwell with broken bed and dead flat screen adding to clutter (still there 3 days later). Arrived at retro 70s unit to find no toilet paper, no tea towel, no rubbish bin. Went down to ask for same... More

Booked this place for two nights on way to Sydney online. Booking online is always hit and miss. Big miss this time! Place looks and is obviously old, messy and dirty. The rooms are not airconditioned (2 dodgy pedestal fans are meant to replace this) and have not been properly cleaned in what seems decades. The pool area is disgraceful... More

Booked last minute driving back from Falls Fest in Byron - arrived to uncleaned room which smelt of urine and what looked like pubic hair all over the bathroom. Management turned off their phones and we had to leave and thankfully got beds at the backpackers (which was 1000 x better than this place and only $30/night compared to $245!!).... More

Admittedly booked this at last minute for two nights...paid $330 a night for the privilege A serviced apartment with 80's decor, stains on carpet and on walls...german cockroaches everywhere.....the hole in the wall at the front door to cope with the space for the piston was the creme dela creme....meant to be for 4 people...the cutlery was atrocious - only... Bruce was very welcoming & helpful. Room was tired but Bruce didn't overrate it, and it was very clean, spacious & comfy. Kingsize bed. Huge TV! Suited our overnight stay very well. $89 a night was excellent value!

Another comfortable stay in this quiet location. Very comfortable beds and very clean. yes it's not five star accommodation but great value for money. It's become my home away from home when visiting family in Port. Thanks again Bruce for your hospitality.
