Please do not leave your credit card details with this man. hopefully fair trading NSW can sort out my terrible experience with this man. I cannot agree more with Ji F this manager is the rudest man I have met in 54years of traveling. Today I have received a credit of $95 to my credit card thanks to fair trading... More

Good Afternoon, My wife, 9 year old, 3 year old and 1 year old stayed at the The Koala Tree Motel on 4th July 2014 in a family overnighter room. At approximately 6am the next morning our 1 year old woke and required feeding and a bottom change. Our 3 year old also woke and was playing in our room.... More

Manager knocks on our door at 6:30am telling us the kids are too noisy and we should really think about heading off as he has been unable to sleep because of them. The fact that we were in a FAMILY room booked in with 3 KIDS is apparently not his concern. 2 weeks later we find a charge to our... More

Stayed recently and the manager is Port Macquarie's answer to Basil Fawlty without the wit or entertainment value. Rude, yes. Sarcastic, yes. Tells bald-face lies? Yes. Truly felt be could snap so just played him with some protective friendliness which seemed to appeal to his ego.

I was originally planning to pull out the swag and camp the night because I have the dog with me, but then I found this place. Clean, Modern, Comfortable, PET FRIENDLY & close to down. Staff are very helpful also. The room is fitted out with a decent size flat screen TV, half size fridge, toaster and kettle. Bathroom looks... More

I was pleasantly surprised h the presentation of clean and tidy room in the front block. It had everything we needed for a weekend with our dog. I had no problems with road noise and the service was great. You can see that they are making improvements around the property but they did not impact our stay. Thank you very... More

Our stay in beautiful Port Macquarie was only tarnished by this place, but as bad as it was, we didn't let it spoil it. So a warning to others... Never, ever consider this place unless as a last resort, there is far, far better value and service in Port Mac as we found out. I wouldn't stay here again even... More

To start with, I take great umbrage over the photo of the toilet, it's not one of ours, this guy has taken a photo of a toilet somewhere else and claimed it one of ours... we don't colour the toilet water and it's not even the right shape for the room he was in, probably the reason for the extreme... I stayed at the Koala Tree motel on my way from Sydney to Brisbane and was pleasantly surprised at the level of service from the staff. I called late (about 10pm) and despite being closed the manager happily arranged a room for me! Their electronic door system was really impressive. I was able to check in with my code as... More

Dark and cold. Situated below road level on the side of a hill. Bad showers. Just an awful experience. Arrived at night. Very poorly lit. Pot holes in the driveways. Terrible parking. Even my dogs were depressed by the look of the place. Very disappointing after a long day on the road and the staff couldn't care less. A shocker.

The place is derelict, was told upon check in that the apartment had central heating, not the case, small split system in one room that didn't work, their are cracks through external walls big enough to see through. The place smelt like a housing commission bathroom, that had been used by animals, I'm sure their is some serious asbestos breaches... More
