Exactly the same situation as the previous reviewer, looking for a place for a wedding on the weekend, and limited by choices for a one night stay, it fills the role.

It's right beside Cessnock airport, in fact touching on it, whether that's a good or bad thing, but you don't need to worry about noise from night flights as there aren't any.

The main facilities are a separate laundry, a (non-heated) outdoor pool, and continental breakfast is provided. The breakfast is actually a good one as continental breakfasts go.

For the price, the room is quite basic, with one dim central light plus bed lights, and is fairly dark during the day, although if you had an upper floor room you would likely have more outside light. Aside from that, there was a relatively large spider on the bedside table, although there was curiously also a can of insect spray supplied in the room, so am unsure if that's a common issue.
