I would not stay here again. It is incredibly overpriced. The room was not clean, it had thick dust over the bed head and plants and the tray in the kitchen holding all the cutlery, glassware etc was filthy. The shower was either scorching hot or freezing cold with no option in between, making it a very unpleasant experience. The... More

I think this hotel's rating has suffered because it is over-sold on the website (very colourful language!) and a few people are angry about not getting refunds when their concert was cancelled. The hotel overuses the 5 star guesthouse rating - it's probably closer to a 3 to 4 star hotel. The room we had was quite nice other than... More

Run down. Not a soul there when we checked in or out. $50 minimum cab fare to Pokolbin restaurants And out of date food left for us for breakfast. Stay somewhere else, or stay home. This place seems to only survive on the mystery bookings from wotif - and staying here has affected my perception of those who recommend patrick... More

Am quite shocked to read the below reviews. Patrick Plains Estate is a luxe boutique motel surrounded by a huge variety of gorgeous boutique vineyards (with free tastings)! And some lovely restaurants. The rooms are decadently furnished and overlook secluded, private vineyards. All we could hear were the sounds of the birds and crickets - such a beautiful alternative to... More

My husband and I were given a night here by our daughter. After reading the reviews I was a little concerned about the place. My fears were unfounded. I am writing in the room now as my husband is still asleep as the quietness is amazing. No slamming doors, cars or any noise of any description. Also no city lights... More

We purchased a mystery special through Wotif? for $159/ night and to be honest, we were a bit nervous after reading the reviews. Positives: The lady in reception was lovely, polite and very helpful, the room was comfortable, good range of DVD's and the location was good. We also had a lovely view from our room and the pool looked... More

For a 5 star place very disappointed . There wasn't any normal TV. We wanted to watch the news as there were lots of bush fires around. We were ment to get a bottle of wine on arrival and didn't. No restaurant so you had to drive everywhere, so one of us couldn't drink or taste many wines. Breakfast was... More

Having read some of the reviews (after we booked), we were concerned, however our fears were soon allayed once we arrived and settled in. The sunset over the vineyard, on a hot balmy evening was sensational, whilst relaxing in our front courtyard. The advertised 'yummy breakfast' was probably an 'over the top' description. Whilst basic, it served its purpose. We... More

My husband and I booked a room at this hotel for two night. The website is completely misleading and does not portray what this hotel really is. The furniture in the room was run down and dated and more like a motel that a luxury 5 star hotel. The photos on the website does not portray the true rooms. Furniture... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here over the weekend. My boyfriend had booked in online on wotif - he paid the 'discount rate' of $350 a night as it was a mystery special. What a joke! Nobody should pay more than $50 a night for a place like this. It is a motel with some nice pillows. We turned up... More
