We arrived Friday to a warm welcome from Donna. Our room was larger than expected and very comfortable. We had the end room number 8 and views of the vineyards & the pool. We didn't swim however I spent a relaxing hour reading by the pool. Breakfast was lovely outside with the birds. It's so tranquil. Sunday we ordered cooked... More

Disappointing, dated, and over-priced – that is my summation of Patrick Plains Estate. The guesthouse website hugely overstates the actual experience. Sure, it was clean, tidy, and pleasant enough, but certainly not worth the $450 per night that we paid. The ‘continental’ breakfast which conjures images of delicious pastries and fresh coffee, was nothing more than a couple of mini... More

My experienced statrted the day before our arrival when I recieved a text from Donna confirming my reservation and arrival time. Additionally Donna gave us her contact number if we had any problems getting there. We arrived at the estate around 3.30 on an extremely hot day. We were pleasantly greeted by Donna who quickly checked us in and escorted... More

We received a 2 night voucher for this place as an engagement present, we loved it. Nice big room, clean, comfy bed, big bathroom, had a everything we needed/wanted - hot breakfast upon request, dvd's to borrow. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Highly recommend!

I had no idea what to expect coming here as there is such a polarised mix of reviews on TripAdvisor. I was pleased though that the overall quality of my stay here was enjoyable. Cons: *Shower was a bit fiddly to get the right balance of jot and cold *Rooms are not very isolated from noise (through the door and... More

We booked this accommodation for a concert. We paid $450 a night (total $900) with a minimum two night stay. The concert was cancelled and subsequently we tried to cancel the accommodation. Unfortunately we were refused full refund and were advised we would lose 30% of the total price so we were given a voucher to use within a year.... More

This accomodation we highly recomended because of an atmosphere which is created by the beautiful vineyard, of course we appreciated comfort and friendly service. What's more, rooms are new and stylish. The pre-prepared breakfast was very nice.

I would not stay here again. It is incredibly overpriced. The room was not clean, it had thick dust over the bed head and plants and the tray in the kitchen holding all the cutlery, glassware etc was filthy. The shower was either scorching hot or freezing cold with no option in between, making it a very unpleasant experience. The... More

I think this hotel's rating has suffered because it is over-sold on the website (very colourful language!) and a few people are angry about not getting refunds when their concert was cancelled. The hotel overuses the 5 star guesthouse rating - it's probably closer to a 3 to 4 star hotel. The room we had was quite nice other than... More

Run down. Not a soul there when we checked in or out. $50 minimum cab fare to Pokolbin restaurants And out of date food left for us for breakfast. Stay somewhere else, or stay home. This place seems to only survive on the mystery bookings from wotif - and staying here has affected my perception of those who recommend patrick... More
