Stopped as part of a winery tour and although the beer was ok the noise from the live band at lunchtime made conversation difficult even on the deck away from the band... and the dancing bogans. The food was quite food but took so long that by the time the last dish came out everyone else had finished. Might be... More

Harrigans has quite good accomodation which was less expensive than some of the other accomodation options nearby. Rooms were clean and tidy. Stayed on the eastern side which appreared a bit newer. Meals OK and good atmosphere in pub itself.

The hotel is well located- close to vineyards and restaurants. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable and was value for money. We had read other reviews which warned of noise from the bar at night but we heard nothing and had an excellent night's sleep. Rooms starting with 2 (201, 202 etc) seem to be the quietest as... We had a great time staying overnight in the executive studio room. The hotel is in a perfect location near the hunter valley garden and our room was clean, large and comfortable. My kids love the jumping castle, the beautiful hotel ground with all the vineyard, the nice little pool and the food. The hotel staff including the restaurant staff... More

Rooms were nice enough, nothing special. Convenient location. The pub can be a bit noisy as it is very close to the rooms. Pub food standard and a bit pricey for what you get. Probably nicer places to stay at while visiting the Hunter Valley, but Harrigans does the job too.

Lovely hotel amongst the vineyards. Hotel room opened out onto a grassed area which was great for the kids. Well located hotel, and rooms quite nice. We had 2 rooms with interconnecting door. Neither of the interconnecting doors would close without having to put the shoulder into it. The bathroom door had a loud squeak, which wasn't a problem at... More

We stayed one night to enjoy the hunter valley gardens light spectacular. We booked in a Friday night and knew that it being a pub it will draw a crowd with the band, however, definitely not a place to stay if you have young kids. You can hear the music from your room, the door is not child proof as... More

Stayed here for 1 night in January whilst visiting the Hunter Valley. My Husband and I were on holiday from England, visiting family in Sydney. We ate out most days during our three week trip and found even the nicest of places weren't much more expensive than England. This place is the equivalent of Wetherspoons but charging the prices if... More

As the heading says, Harrigans accomodation is at the back of the pub/hotel itself. We booked for 2 nights as we were attending a concert. So as we didnt have to worry about drink driving, we were able to enjoy a few extra drinks before and after the concert. It's nothing flash, but the room is spacious and the beds... More

This was our third visit to Harrigans and we were again impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the generous meal portions and the overall ambience. The kids were welcome and the activity packs were very much appreciated. Food was delicious - everyone enjoyed their selected dish. A reliable refueling station that we will certainly visit again.
