We stayed in early May, the weather was a little cold but sunny and a lovely outlook to be enjoyed from the resort. Accommodation was neat, clean and tidy. The vineyard tourguide was so informative, the wine tasting was much fun, we learnt so much and enjoyed many of the wines. We dined at the restaurant, and enjoyed the food... More

We had a great time wine tasting here. We were lucky to be served by Terry who has so much knowledge and taught us a lot as well as just having a great personality. was a great place to end our day of wineries.

Our first time at the Hunter Valley Resort. It was very clean & tidy, staff were very accommodating with all our requests & a great feature was the Horse riding that was available on the resort at very affordable prices. Bit too cold when we travelled for use of the pool & spa, but maybe next time we'll travel in... More

We had a great stay, unfortanly as we were doing a hot air ballon ride next day,we weren't able to do wine tour etc,but was a lovely stay.good location, not to far from hunter valley gardens.could do with a bigger sign for hotel or told that it's at the blue tongue brewery.

My partner and I stayed here on our first visit to hunter valley. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Wine theatre and tasting was by far the most enjoyable and engaging experience from all the different wineries 7 we visited. Accommodation as expected and lovely manicured gardens. Will definitely choose to stay here again on next visit to the region

We were celebrating our 40th Anniversary and travelled up to the Hunter with another couple. We had adjoining rooms in a cabin which were beautifully appointed. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for us from the moment we checked in at reception, the restaurant staff, cafe staff and cellar staff - terrific! The location is so peaceful, woken... Very tired motel with shabby rooms and poor facilities that should not claim to be a resort or have 4 stars. And it's tacked onto the side of a beer factory. The facilities and experiences are 'gimmicky' are merely put on to satisfy the requirements of their claim to be a resort. The food in the restaurant was terrible, undercooked... More

I stayed at the Hunter Valley Resort with my boyfriend for a weekend away in July 2014. We stayed in a Vineyard Room for two nights (Friday and Saturday). Overall we were very impressed with the resort, mainly because of the great customer service the staff provided, but the rooms are quite basic and a little outdated, so if you... More

We booked one night here as friends had recommended the Hunter Valley as a place to see. The resort is vast and quite impressive when you turn up. Plenty of parking near your room, checkin was fast and easy. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They booked us onto a wine talk which gave us enough time to settle... More
