Peppers Convent is a very comfortable boutique hotel in a quiet corner of Pokolbin. All staff we met were helpful, professional and welcoming. Our room was an adequate size with French doors opening onto a lovely verandah. Surprising omissions were the lack of reading lights on the bed head and no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Breakfasts were lovely as... More

Great place for a winter weekend away. Not too far from Sydney and the package with afternoon tea, dinner at Roberts and breakfast is a great combo. Rooms are excellent and the pretty amongst the vines superb.

The Convent in Pokolbin is certainly perfect in every way. The luxurious rooms and living areas were well appointed with crisp sheets and towels and everything you could possible need. The gardens and vineyards on view were so beautiful especially from the cane lounge suite on our spacious veranda. As for food everything was amazing. The lovely breakfast of fresh... More

Never have I had such trouble trying to confirm a booking. We booked a room here and were sweet talked into booking their most expensive room. We were told we would get an email confirmation and that they would take 50% as confirmation. They took 100% and we never got an email to confirm our booking. We rang three times... More

From the moment Kimberley (Resort Manager) welcomed our enquiry we were never disappointed with the Convent in any way. Our accommodation for 5 couples was on the top floor with rooms that certainly lived up to the reputation of this unique establishment.. Speaking to other guests too on our floor all commented how well appointed the rooms were. Afternoon tea... More

Peppers Convent! My goodness, every single person I came into contact with was absolutely beautiful, genuine and attentive. The style was vintage and cosy, the lobby/fire placed lounge room was welcoming, warm and wonderful! I will be returning with the entire family for no occasion but to show them this amazing little place I was so lucky to find. Thank... More

I went here for a girls weekend in the hunter valley. I love the hunter region in the winter for the wining & dining & it is great to bike/horse ride, wine taste during the day. I went here with a group of girls and we didn't have to leave the estate really. Roberts the restaurant was a VERY short... More

We enjoyed two nights at Peppers Convent early June 2014. It is a quiet, lovely, charming old building with ambience. We upgraded to a Superior room and were not disappointed. The staff were spot on. We were served a delicious afternoon tea each day. Breakfast was excellent. The Vineyards are wonderful in any season. This time we saw kangaroos in... More

I had a girls trip to Peppers Convent and it was exactly what I needed after a very busy first half of the year. I arrived to be greeted by smiles and friendly faces all around. The venue was absolutely breathtaking and I was just in awe of all the intricate details that made up the decor of Peppers Convent.... More
