We have just returned from 2 nights at Cypress Lakes. The reception staff were poorly trained, uninterested and clearly in need of customer service training, not a good start! A simple hello or good afternoon when people check into the hotel would go along way, having "yes?" barked at you is very Fawlety Towers. We booked into a 2 bed... more

Wow, what a slap in the face. Having stayed there a couple of times before in the past boy was I in for a surprise...not only were bookings for massage, tours and dinner stuffed up, the room was old and tired looking, the sheets didn't look new either and there was no stereo, just an old TV. The service was... more

We have just arrived home after staying at Cypress Lakes Resort, we had a wonderful time. We loved the two bedroom, two bathroom villa, very comfortable beds and pillows, with a nice view of the trees. The breakfast was great and the staff were attentive and helpful. Our husbands had a round of golf and thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the... more

My husband and I stayed only one night at the Cypress resort. We reserved a one bedroom villa with breakfast included. (livingroom with a bedroom, fridge ) Our package included a golf game or a massage. We took the massage.(we reserved ahead of time) Great experience. We were driven to the center. (beautiful view and we were able to see... more

Stayed for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom villa. I think this property is in a very good location and I think it is excellent value if you spilt the cost between 2 couples - at $300 per room per night for 4 adults (plus 2kids) including full buffet breakfast - I don't think you can get much better. Plus... more

Accomodation: We stayed in a one bedroom villa for a few days. It was spacious, and had heaters which we needed for the windy nights. The bed was comfortable. However, we were very disappointed with what was presented for the price we are paying. It had molds & grimes in the shower tiles. We found hair in the spa and... more

Had high expectations for Cypress Lakes, but felt a little let down when arrived in room. Kitchenette and bathroom felt a little tired and not of the standard I had hoped for. Travelled with friends and due to the weather being so ordinary tried to get in the day spa only to be told there was no massage therapists available... more

We briefly visited this hotel before to play golf during my father’s visit to Australia in 2005, we had lots of fun together with him and my girlfriend, hitting balls and just being happy. Each of us had no idea what we were doing and ended up with blisters, but huge smiles on our faces! This time in 2008 our... more

The Resort is in a great location however that is all that it has going for it. The villas are very tired, unclean and in desperate need of renovations.Housekeeping was terrible, we asked 2 to 3 days in a row for clean sheets, towels and for a wipe down of benches and were completely ignored. We also asked for extra water in the... more

We stayed in a 2 bedroom deluxe villa for 3 nights, and received a very good price as we booked and paid 30 days in advance. The villa was fantastic, very comfortable and modern although parts of the shower could have done with some Exit Mould. None of the restaurants were open while were there as apparently they close in... more
