We stayed for easter in the 5 bedroom cabin and it was perfect. Self contained, 2 full bathrooms very modern and spotless. The cabin catered to our group of 9 beautifully there was a log fire, well set up kitchen comfy sofas loads hot water. I would recommend these to everyone.

Myself and 5 friends spent the New years period at the Pokolbin Cabins. This was the perfect location for the getaway we were looking for with all the Hunter Valley just in reach for us to explore. The cabins sit on a large property and are well spaced from each other allowing for extra privacy. Great amenities if you are... More

Myself, my husband and our 3 grown up sons and their partners all stayed in one of the cabins for a long weekend. The accommodation was perfect for us. They are very central to a number of wineries in the area. The cabin was clean and very cosy, the kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfortable, the furniture and fittings... More

We stayed at the Pokolbin Cabins for two nights for a weekend away in the Hunter. The beds are comfortable, the cabins are clean, the wood box is well stocked so that we had a roaring fire for the weekend we were there. The cabins are self-catering and have everything you need for a weekend away with family or friends.... More

We were very fortunate to get in contact with Colin & Jane at Pokolbin Cabins regarding accommodation during our recent trip to Hunter Valley to see Bruce Springsteen, having travelled all the way from N. Ireland. It is very central and convenient to visiting the Vineyards and exploring the Hunter Valley Region. But most amazing of all was waking up... More

First off - Pokolbin Cabins is not five star, its not a hotel and as the name suggests it's a CABIN. That said this place is great, if you have a big group or a family (as I did) then this is the place. Very conveniently located and as others have indicated extremely peaceful with lots of room to move.... More

We stayed here at the weekend and booked directly with the owner. The owner was very helpful and reduced the amount by $100 to make the cost $800 for 2 nights in a 3 bedroom cabin (because 800 was our budget). The cabins are sparkling clean, and there are attempts at making it homely and cosy. The kitchen works, however... More

We spent a lovely week in a 3-bedroom cabin in July. Just the 2 of us and Gladys our dog. We had been looking for a place which was dog friendly and this was just fantastic. Very peaceful with lots of space around each cabin. The wood stove kept us wonderfully warm at night - plenty of logs supplied. We... More

I was heading to the Hunter for a luncheon and could only stay the Saturday night, after contacting numerous cottages, resorts etc- all had a 2night min. stay I contacted Jane who was happy to offer me one night's accommodation at a reasonable rate.
