Only stayed here ones nigt, it that was enough. Really needs to be handed over to a professional hotel operator to relise the potential of this beautiful building. Very outdated bathrooms clearly decorated by a committee, needs lots of money to restore but would be worth it.

I'm very sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay here at Duntryleague, you have identified a few things in your comment that we are already addressing, refurbishing is one of our main priories and this is obvious in the majority of our rooms. I'm sure if you were to visit again you would be pleasantly surprised. More

As a family we stayed in the Magaret Dalton Lodge which is a 3 Br self contained flat attached to the main house. Decor was a mix of old and new furniture, beds and pillows comfortable. At night the smoke alarms flash very brightly so you would need a sleeping mask, we reported it to reception. Bathroom was adequate but... More

This was our 3rd choice for a 3 night weekend in Orange as we wanted somewhere nice rather than an average motel room and the recommended hotels were fully booked. We were pleasantly surprised. It had an old world charm and reminded me of an old scottish hotel with its huge dark wooden stair case, stained glass windows, massive doors... More

A charming old mansion on a beautiful golf course, we stayed for one night and enjoyed the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we got a good walk up rate which included breakfast. Definitely recommend for those who enjoy old world charm.

I agree with the other reviewer (geebob1) about the mediocre breakfast. The pipes in the rooms were a bit noisy but that is part and parcel of staying in a old house. The potential of this place as top notch accommodation is amazing. I wish I owned it. But otherwise I really liked it. A good central location and (apart... More

This is an old mansion in the beautiful Orange golf course. Our room was comfortable with breathtaking views over the course. Bathroom small but OK, bed very comfortable. Free Wi Fi. Our package included continental breakfast. This was very disappointing - no effort was made to offer other than the most basic fare. Ordinary cereals and terrible cheap bread, drip... More

My wife and I stayed one week night in a standard room. It was more than adequate although small. The bed was great really comfy. The bath room is about the same size as the bedroom and amazingly clean and crisp. The best though is the location, it is very close to central Orange but very quiet and secluded feel... More

We stayed in the newly renovated three bedroom cottage. The beds were fantastic. All king size and very very comfortable. Nice linen. The lounge room was large with the old high ceilings. Very nice. Kitchen was ok, but good dining facilities. Staff very nice and responsive.

My wife and I spent two nights in this heritage listed old mansion and loved the old world charm. The room was basic, but had all we needed and the bed was very comfy. The views over the park like golf course were beautiful. If able we will be back again.
